CERA's report was first published in 2005. We may be producing more than 3MM barrels by 2020.

CERA has also estimated that there are 4 trillion barrels of oil in the ground, but of that, 1 trillion are recoverable by conventional means. The 1 trillion are what is referred to in the Peak Oil theory. However, there are an estimated 1 trillion barrels in the Green River Shale alone. If we can ever tap that economically, oil will collapse.

If you ask most people, what is more probable, $200 oil or $20 oil? most people will say $200 oil. I also remember people thinking natural gas could never get back to $3 when it was pushing $17 just a few years ago.
