He doesn't put bible verses underneath his eyes, or kneel in the end zone, but he appears to love Jesus and is a helluva quarterback.

If people hate Christians so much, why isn't anyone hating on Drew Brees?

Or Troy Polamalu?

Or Aaron Rogers?

There are MANY faithful Christian players in the NFL, most of whom give all of the glory to God for their talent and ability to perform in the sport.

Why do you think that people reserve such disdain for Tim Tebow, when they aren't heaping it on the people above? Does disliking Tebow's "in your face" brand of Christianity equate to being anti-Christian?

What Biblical justification is there for praying in the end zone in front of millions of people? Do you feel that Tebow's public displays of religiousity are helpful, or harmful, to Christianity?

Good article, btw: NFL: Is “Tebowing” an attack on Christianity?

I like him too, except that he plays for the Aints.

But LOL on finding that post on Free Republic, the most idiotic rightwingloon site in existence. Even they think Tebow is too in your face.

He’s about to become the all time passing leader with 200 more yards. Congrats drew.

Plus he has a Super Bowl. Hall of fame for sure

Its all about Tebow being too in your face like was said earlier. Christianity is all about the New Covenant. There is something to be said for making your religion look cool and being proud of what you believe but man. Even praising Dan Marino can get old lol.

1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:

4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
