A thread is comprised of posts. The thread placement is in a particular forum.

I meant it for the philosophy section, I couldn't find it, put it in an encompassing thread. Then later I managed to locate the one I wanted. I was in a rush, so wasn't paying attention.

Is that okay?

Of course it's okay.

But just for good measure... here's a good ol' bitch slap. :slap:

What?
Wouldn't the conflicts in their philosophy writings show in their biases?
I don't think you have to exclude people by judging by their profession
to do that.

What I find is if there is some bias or conflict skewing their judgment,
it will show in their writing that will contradict itself.

You can actually use their own profession to point this out in some cases.
So their profession could help make the arguments and further the discussion.

What is wrong with using that as part of the discourse?
To take the whole person in context, and discuss conflicts WITHIN their views.
Not judge their views from the outside but from the content and context included?

Well Mindful. If your blog post was about "judging people for their profession"
instead of the content of their material, then why are you surprised when people
poke at you for external things that have naught to do with the content of your posts?
