I proudly call myself a Will McAvoy Republican!

There will be a time when moderates take their party back!

I don't; never will and never can. It is important that the Republicans adhere to conservative values: Truth, Justice and the American Way. Not like those idiot DemoKKKrats!

There is no such thing. It is a contradiction in terms.

Out of that list, there are only actually 12 that are real countries. The rest are literally little dots on the map. And while yes, the UK is formally listed as a "Constitutional Monarchy,' when you read up on it, it is just a fancy name for another Oligarchy. None of these are true Republics.

Really? Are you telling me that out of that list of countries with a form of government recognized as being constitutional monarchies, none are true republics? No shit. :laugh2:

The point is that constitutional monarchies exist and even if they no longer did, there would be no contradiction in terms.

Australia isn't a Republic; it's a Constitutional Monarchy. Oz and Canada are each about the size of the US (without Alaska). What point are you trying to make?

The Isle of Tonga? A constitutional monarchy does not exist as a true, separate form of government. ALL monarchies have some set of rules, some "constitution," but it is merely a subdivision of an oligarchy. I do not recognize it as a true, independent form of government like a republic. Even monarchies are not a true form of stable government, because one person never truly rules, he is a figurehead, a title, but is rather ruled by a small group of people, an oligarchy.
