Gerrymandering prevention? Simple.

Require all districts must be drawn with the smallest area and shortest border possible to satisfy voting requirements and geography. The most efficient shape is a circle, therefore you'll get lot of districts looking much more like that, barring geography.

Bawney Fwank would be fucked, so would Waxman and most other urban entrenched party members... and about goddamn time.

You want to motivate people to vote? Another simple solution. Offer a $100-$1000 income tax credit that cannot be used to increase the amount over 100% of your taxes you paid in. Not a check, a TAX CREDIT.

If you are already getting everything back, why give you a bump? Help out those who are helping America succeed, and encourage THEM to voice their opinion.
