i like obama more now than before.

look, obama fucked up with iran the first time and this time he's got it right, in my mind. no one was more pissed off than i, by his silence then, but one of the marks of a strong leader is intelligence, the capacity for understanding. when someone does something well, i'm not afraid to acknowledge. i follow john bolton and krauthammer for foreign policy and they disagree with me on this.

why do you think they disagree with you...?

...ever consider that bolton and krauthammer are not mistaking obama for a schoolboy fuckup...?

...ever wonder why BO is always contradicting himself.....?

...it's difficult to be a liar...

STICKS AND STONES MAN... even john f. kennedy made his mistakes, but i think he learned well from them. someone like me is delighted by the fact that the president obama is focused on the world, and the foreign policy football, pun intend.

It has been over 2 years, can you prove Obama's budget/economy and FP have helped at all? And when did you become a War supporting neocon?

Frankly I'm pretty disappointed in Obama. The President is much different from the candidate. However I think anyone with half a brain cell will agree the economy has improved in the last two years. But can I prove it was Obama's policies? Of course not. Nobody can. That's the problem with economics. You can't prove anything; Maybe someone else's policies would have made recovery even faster and stronger. But at this point it's all speculation.

Also all completely unrelated to my thinking Ribeye's an idiot.

Thanks for your honesty. I however don't agree that "anyone with half a brian" can see the economy is better. The economy is about the same overall and that's with all the massive spending that ahs happened. As I said in a post above Obama has "floated" the economy. If he didn't get Unemployement passed the economy would be showing it's true colors.

If spending worked then there would be no point in people working and that's a fact. There is no money and to be fair we are in huge and growing debt. We are coming to a point where even if the economy recovers the bill will be so massive we simply couldn't pay it back... meaning spending failed again.

“Stay the course” is now the motto of Bush and Obama, not that it’s the only things they have in common.

i tried hard to like him at first, but i couldn't get past the condescention or his policy.
now (all of the sudden) i like him more. i think his interface with iran (this time) is spot on, his comments timely and appropriate.
so that's a big thing. i think he learned from iran's june 09 revolt, and he is getting a second chance, i hope iran becomes free.
overall, i think he is changing with the job, so he may turn out to be a pretty good president. whether christie runs or not, he will hold the president to a high standard of logic and pragmatism, in the upcoming election

This is your idea of debating substance, is it? You're right - people should move along because there's nothing to see - when it comes to your posts. Rabbi makes an absolutely accurate assessment. Obama is failing. very badly. Look at November's elections - this is no secret. Obama is an incompetent jerk and everyone knows it.

losing pelosi was a gift to all of us, and i think if O straightens out his fiscal bent, he has potential. he has kept many of bush's policies in tact. he will probably be a two termer, so...

I haven't seen anyone state he is Stupid. He is far from it. But he also bit off more than he could chew. Just my opinion. YMMV

Thanks.
I must give credit on one issue however. The White House announced they will take steps to wind down Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac and reduce gov't interference in the mortgage market.
That is one good idea they deserve credit for implementing, assuming they actually do.

But everythign else is a disaster. And when big inflation hits here we will see how much of one it is.

I dont like him because of his record. You are liking him because all of a sudden he is starting to act the way you would like him to act. It's a show, he is still the president he was 2 years ago who was ramming legislation down the American peoples throats that we didn't want. Don't let him fool you, he is a master politician.
Is this the Obama you voted for?

I am the reverse. I liked him while he ran for office and gave him the benefit of the doubts I tried to ignore. But now? I am not impressed. I don't think he is a bad person. I just don't think he was prepared...and still isn't.

I was impressed with his oratory skills. I still am. But a good President is not about making stirring speeches.

I agree, President Obama has been doing a better job since the recent elections. I still won't say I'm impressed with him, but I'm a little less annoyed.

So, he showed you how he really is before the November elections and you hated him, but now that he realized he got his ass handed to him in November he wants to fake how he really feels and you support him a little more?
You seen the real Obama from 2008 to 2010, base your vote in 2012 off of that, because trust me, he has not changed one bit on how he really feels inside, and if given the chance to do it again he would.

Oh please, he's just pretending to move to the center the way Clinton did because he realized his influence could lose elections for democrats rather than win them, as November 2010 proved, when the more he campaigned for a candidate, the lower their polls sunk.

At this point after watching this Marxist jerk for 2 years, I would need Jesus Christ himself to come down from the heavens and confirm if anything Obama said was true or not. Obama said health care debates would be held on c-span - they were held behind closed doors and crafted in secret and rammed down America's throat on Christmas eve (talk about insult upon - literal - injury!). Obama said unemployment would not go up, and after trillions of dollars in spending to create jobs, none were created and the nation faces bankruptcy because of that spending. Obama said he would restore the world's faith in America, and then proceed to bow to Saudi princes, inappropriately touch the Queen of England and a million other things to the point that newspapers from Australia to Russia write columns every day laughing at us for having Obama as our so-called president. And he said he would have the most open administration in history, and continues to fight lawsuits so as to keep his long form birth certificate - that would confirm his very eligibility to hold office - secret as public court records confirm (no conspiracy theory there, so know it), even with liberals like Huffington post, Chris Matthews, Mother Jones news, Lynn Samuels and other liberals now calling for him to release those records.

He postures a bit to look moderate? No way. Not good enough, my friend. Not even remotely close. Obama is bad news. Period.

I agree 100%, And I love the glitter bear video, that is AWESOME!!! "I need drugs!!" HAHAHAHA!!!

it's amazing how people react, when all i did was compliment the president for one facet of his complicated presidency. i think he still has policy left from the kennedy era, and the democrats have made so many blunders.
however, as i say, with pelosi out of power, he stands a better chance to succeed.

He was prepared, prepared to turn this country upside down, don't kid yourself, everything he has done he did on purpose. He is a socialist, and hates America, he bows to foreign leaders and apologizes for America at every turn, don't kid yourself about this man.

Sure, you love Obama, he is doing so wonderful, and now that you can use Pelosi as the Scapegoat, Obama has less obstacles.

You sound like your working for "Organizing for America".

Complicated presidency, no more so than anyone else.

Pelosi out of power, Pelosi and Obama were a team, Obama had a majority in the Senate and the House, Pelosi was an obstacle.

So there it is folks, right here in this thread, its time to lie and spread more propaganda, Obama has learned from Iran's actions, not that Obama could of or should of learned anything in the last thirty years being always polically active. What has Obama learned about Iran, was Obama so naive about Iran entering office now he has had an epiphany?

Obama should of knew who Iran was, and Obama did, to state Obama is learning on the job, on how to mold foreign policy around Iran shows the inexpereince and the lack of ability on Obama's part.

Obama is allowing Iran to build Nuclear Weapons, Obama is allowing Iran to build Nuclear Weapons, Obama is allowing Iran to build Nuclear Weapons.

I don't mean any disrespect, but I think YOU are missing the big picture. He is more ignorant when it comes to running anything then Palin for one, at least she ran a state, Obama has not even run a Mcdonalds but tries to run a country. All he has ever done in his life is be a community organizer, a lowly street agitator.
He is all for the special interests and not the interest of this country, he is an enemy of this state, and his actions the last 2-1/2 years proves as much. Wake up already.
His wife needs to mind her own damned business also, keep her nose out of my kids diet, it's not her job to dictate what my kids eat, it's my job.
If you don't see how these people are and what there agenda is, then you have got to be blind.

The economy has improved? I think you're the one with the dead brain cells. We went from 6% unemployment to 10%. That;s not an improvement.
