I hate to be a dolt...

So if a person wants to get drunk, then that is ok, as long as they do not drive a car dui?
Then why do bars have parking lots?

If a terminally ill person wants to commit suicide that is ok, as long as they are not assisted?
Why have compassion on a horse that has a broken leg?

And if a person wants to smoke marijuana, to relieve back pain, then they should spend as long in jail as the law deems necessary? :cuckoo:

From the link:

Many activities that were once considered crimes are no longer illegal in some countries, at least in part because of their status as victimless crimes. For example, in the United Kingdom in the 1950s, the Wolfenden report recommended the legalization of homosexuality for these reasons. Almost fifty years later, Lawrence v. Texas struck down Texas sodomy laws.

Now we've got homos everywhere, not just hair salons and fashion shows!
