I hanker for a hunka cheese.

It always bothered me that Scrooge could dive into a bin of gold coins.

Um ... this was another of my personal faves growing up ... didn't learn much from it you could say, but it's still cooot!

The only thing that bothered me about Duck Tales was when they got rid of Uncle Scrooge and later spun it off ... Scrooge was half the show!

Schoolhouse Rock was shown a lot when I was growing up.

Now I can't spell the girls name, but she rules in this classic!

Saddest thing, I STILL know the lyrics to this one by heart:

... and yes, Dot IS my idol!

We're tiny
We're tooney
We're all a little looney
And in this cartoony
We're invading your TV
We're comic dispensers
We crack up all censors
On Tiny Toon adventures get a dose of comedy.

And here's Acme Acres it's a whole wide world apart
Out home sweet home
It stands alone
A cartoon work of art
The scripts were rejected
Expect the unexpected
On Tiny Toon adventures it's about to start.

They're furry
They're funny
They're Babs and Buster bunny
Montana Max has Money
Elmyra is a pain
There's Hampton
And Plucky
Dizzy Devil's yucky
Furball's unlucky
And Go-go is insane!

At Acme Looniversity we earn out Toon Degree
The teaching staff's
Been getting laughs since 1933
We're tiny
We're toony
We're all a little loony
It's Tiny Tune Adventures come and join the fun!

Doo doo doo doo do

And now our song is done.

What's interesting is that if you watch the old school cartoons that don't have the short commercials edited out you can really see the jingoism and overt racism that existed back in the day.

I don't drive ... wonder how I'll know when I'm old ... probably when the cartoons I watch now finally go out of style.

You know it's a slow night when posting memories of old cartoons from the 80's and pestering conspiracy nuts is entertaining ...

So true, TV is an outlet for a lot of pent up aggression for many writers.
