I got a good question both sides to speak on and debate...

I think that if Ol'BO continues with his Agenda he could very well loose a second term. Will he move to the center like Bubba did and survive?? Don't think so. His agenda seems to be all he cares about. He doesn't care what the American people want, just his agenda.

Will the Dems run with him in 2012?? Don't know. Will have to see how the rest of his term plays out. I really don't think he will get another term if he doesn't move his ass over to the center though. Time will tell on that one.

I realize I'm not supposed to mention the last 8 years of the previous decade, but you do realize that there was a reason why the Bush Administration was called "The Imperial Presidency" don't you? They did what they wanted, spent what they wanted, and if met with opposition just vetoed (slammed the door) on the opposition. And no, I don't like that the Dems are attempting to do the same thing. But I'm just not a hypocrite about it.

 Come this next presidential election, who thinks that Obama has a shot at being elected again, like Bush did, or is the GOP going to jump in again? I am not going to say a thing, cause i am not satisfied with the choice i made, and that's Obama. He has yet to prove to me that he can be trusted let alone keep any of the promises he made, for that Great Better Change for Americans as he promise, before he got elected. I don't know which side of the coin i will choose. That's part of being a Non-Partisan Voter, and maybe we might get a surprise and another Democrat may try and steal the White House Seat, from Obama, Who knows!!!! Just like it was in the beginning with Obama and Hilary running against each other. I am curious to hear from both sides of the coin and even some of the Independents and other parties. SPILL!! THE BEANS Y'ALL!!!

Unless obama backs off his progressive agenda he will be a one term president.

if he decides to go back to the center where he campaigned from he has a chance of salvagin a re-election...it is 2 more years before the process starts up in earnest.

Oher than health care, what "progressive" agenda? Education reform? Desperately needed. Alternative energy? Let's work on that--it's an apolitical topic. What else is so "progressively" ugly that conservatives won't touch it?

Clinton was smart enough of a politician to move to the center when he got a republican congress, and read the tea leaves.

Obama is a socialist ideologue, I don't think he is smart enough.

That said, I have no idea what will happen. It's 3 years away.

Alternative energy is far from apolitical. Didn't they just have an international summit on this where many leaders met and spoke of alternative energy?

Cap and Trade (not the same as alternative energy)
Public Option Style health care reform
Treating Terrorists like criminals instead of terrorists
Increasing Taxes
Growing existing government beurocracys and starting new ones

You fail to understand that REPUBLICANS in washington are also progressives (See George Bush/John McCain) and do the same expansion of government BS that is causing all our problems.

It all started with Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson back at the turn of the century.

Obama's engines have shut down and he's now in a flat spin. Those few pilots who've survived one can tell you it's extremely difficult to recover from a flat spin.

Unlike normal spins, in which the nose of the aircraft is pointed down, in a flat spin the nose is pointed up -- rather like the noses of Washington Democrats toward the hoi polloi who attend TEA parties. This makes the controls unresponsive, and the airplane falls from the sky like a leaf falling from a tree.

The Obama administration is in a flat spin. No president in the history of polling has tumbled so far in a single year from the lofty heights he enjoyed on the day of his inauguration. But as "change you can believe in" morphed into socialism you must pay for, the administration stalled out and tumbled earthward.

So now you're a statistician and historian? Sorry, but you obviously actually KNOW nothing, but just hope your statement rings true. It doesn't, of course. Scroll down for Gallup polling of first year popularity of presidents going back to Eisenhower. If it went all the way back to Truman, it would show that his favorability ratings were in the 30's. A president's popularity depends solely on what is happening in the moment.

Obama Starts 2010 With 50% Approval

I listen to America. you listen to pollsters and lies. im older and smarter than you cry baby.. and i have more insurance. so fuck off

No, and the only thing that got bush back in, was the public was to embarrassed to change pres in the middle of a war.

It's not a separate bill, but only a part of the proposed energy bill.

Public Option Style health care reform
I said "what else"??

Treating Terrorists like criminals instead of terrorists
Easier and faster to prosecute; some will be tried by military tribunals. How is that a liberal-progressive issue? It's a matter of justice. It's been eight and a half years since the attacks of 911, and we still haven't PROSECUTED Khalid Sheikh Mohammed????

Increasing Taxes
Have your taxes been raised yet?

When the simple questions are put simply, the answers get tougher. I should try that approach more often.

How fascinating. Since you always seem to have rather adolescent comments, I guess that would put me back in my 20's. And if you're truly a veteran, obviously you have more insurance. Duh...

its much better to keep things simple than to dilute the point with extras.

My fed taxes went up 2 weeks ago in my paycheck. As did my state taxes and my local property tax. So yeah the progressives in my state government and the progressives in my federal govt have raised my taxes. (i'm going backwards sorry)

I dont think brining terrorists to court and giving them lawyers and US citizen rights will make them easier or quicker to prosecute. you think that it will. Since that is what we are doing i guess we will find you if you are right, if i'm right, or if its something else.

I know u said what else but I had to include the ObamaPelosiCare in the list

Cap and Trade is a tax hike on my energy usage. I dont think we should be counting on the government to bring us clean energy. What the govt needs to do is give individuals like me a 100% income tax break on any money we spend on something like a solar panel for my roof. And do the same for corporations who do similar things.

Its a different approach, progressives want more govt and want the govt to do it but I want it to be the citizens, the people.

I like talking to MaggieMae...she is reasonable.
