I feel compelled to share this

I think I remember seeing this episode of Cosmos when I was a kid. I watched that show religiously. They should rerun it.

I started a thread entitled “Pale Blue Dot” back in January 2005: http://usmessageboard.com/showthread.php?t=16876&highlight=pale+blue. There were many interesting insights offered during the Cosmos series. After verbalizing his awe and respect for the Universe and life on Earth, Dr. Sagan remarked, “these are some of the things that hydrogen atoms do given 15 billion years of evolution.” The fact that given enough time bio-chemical evolution can produce stuff that contemplates itself is the real mystery of the “pale blue dot.”
