What's up with them?
The initiative in question (I-912) raised 425,000 signatures. 225,000 were required to get it on the ballot. It's going to be on the ballot, and it's going to be approved.
The initiative simply repeals a 9.5 cent gas tax that the Dem-controlled legislature passed (and Provisional Governor Gregoire signed) this last session. Only problem is, the tax partially funds two major boondoggle projects in Seattle, and does not improve roads elsewhere in the state. In effect, it was a state tax to support Seattle roads.
So piss on them. This tax is going down faster than Ted Kennedy's car going over a bridge.
Schools here like Evergreen College/Olympia (located handily near the state capitol) are basically communist breeding grounds. We need more teachers like you here in the Seattle area, Kathianne, to start educating WA students about our true American history and values and replace the communist/socialist agenda being taught. The western part of this state is overrun by liberals.
help this problem...y'all need to hire and or elect conservative School board members and superintendents!
The problem is that even when we do elect Republicans, the Democrat dead-voter-recount machine starts up, and we still get stuck with a Democrat!
