I don't give a damn............

so what made u think Obama was competent? I still want to know this, what is the lefts obsession with not just "disagreeing" with republicans or anyone who thinks different but damn guy u are obessed with HATING anyone who disagrees with u. WHy the hate?

He does have 3 1/2 years in the position at this point as opposed to a guy who was not a popular governor of a state. A vote for Romney is a vote for the Bush white house and the unaccountable and almost nameless men who will tell him what to sign and how how to act and especially who to bomb and invade.

"All we have to do is replace Obama. ... We are not auditioning for fearless leader. We don't need a president to tell us in what direction to go. We know what direction to go. We want the Ryan budget. ... We just need a president to sign this stuff. We don't need someone to think it up or design it. The leadership now for the modern conservative movement for the next 20 years will be coming out of the House and the Senate. [...]
Pick a Republican with enough working digits to handle a pen to become president of the United States. This is a change for Republicans: the House and Senate doing the work with the president signing bills. His job is to be captain of the team, to sign the legislation that has already been prepared."

Right now your Dear Leader is bombing 5 or 6 different countries a year.. Who's whispering in his Gigantic ears?

What matters is that we ditch this scapegoating and class war. We need to focus on doing to the country EXACTLY what the Bain did for sick companies. To refocus them, find the substance of value and increase the probability of their future success.

Of course -- it COULD turn out that the USA is so far gone -- that we should take the Corporate raider and start selling some assets and firing a lot of the (Federal) employees.

You get the similiarity? Good. So will MOST of non-socialist America..

More socialism for the rich? Will that seriously help a fucking thing at this point?

what made u think before the presidency that Obama had any compentency to be president? U had none, but he was a dem so u did as ur masters commanded.

So partisanship figures not in your eventual vote for Romney? Of course I voted for the democrat having been a democrat all my adult life.

no it doesnt, i choose to look at evidence and seek my answers and learn what i can than make a decision, not saying its hte best or what people should do, but i dont vote for the sake of party.

Bullshit.

Based on what? That he was born rich, to his credit maintained his wealth, and hasn't worked in about a decade?

Yes...tons of "real world" experience there.

Money probably means NOTHING to a guy who volunteered to engineer a successful Olympics and left corporate troubleshooting to serve the Public at a huge cut in pay.

Being a governor is "not worked in a decade"? Check yourself -- I don't think you believe that.

The folks like Bain Capital are experts in refocusing errant companies. Without them -- there would be MORE pain and suffering for sick companies. You consider that "less significant contribution" than being a member of the Jersey Shore cast?

I was wrong. It's been 5 years since the Governor was employed. For some reason, I thought he was out in 2002, not 2007.

Never mentioned anything about the Jersey Shore so I'm not sure what you mean there.

But you're right, he was governor until 2007.

THe Jersey shore comment was in reference to you demeaning his contributions to the business world. He DOES understand how to be a good executive. Learned that by fixing broken companies. The really hard cases where they were misdirected and mismanaged. Kinda like the shape of the US Government right now eh?

Snookie is rich and famous based on WHAT? You're 1st words were "Based on What?"..
Care to compare?

about Romney's tax returns

about Obama's birth certificate

about how many jobs Bain did or did not outsource

about how many jobs Solyndra/GE/Obama outsourced

about Romney's role at Bain between 1999-2002

about the number of states in the US

I also don't give a damn about who eats dog food or whose dog barfed from the top of a car -THANK you, flacaltenn. HOW could I have forgotten!!!

What I DO give a damn about is a man who is COMPETENT to run this country

The objective, non-partisan evidence is that Romney is more competent and successful than is Obama when it comes to dealing with the real world, whether it's the Olympics, a business, a state or a country.

ROFLMAO!!

The Bain method? Pick a rocky, but viable company, load it up with debt, bankrupt it and sell off the pieces.

Method two: Pick a company that is in financial trouble preferably one that can be outsourced. Have the present employees train the overseas employees. Fire the US employees. Move the company totally overseas. Claim a tax credit.

After that you put your profits into tax free accounts overseas.

this contest will come down to populatrity (obama) and votes (romney) Obamas followers dont understand whtas happened, just look at this board "blame the republicans; blame the republicans" on the other side Romney is going to have to sway votes to go his way, he can talk of Obamas record, but Obama is going to deflect that and go after money, power, class warfare. THat in its simplest form is what it will come down to.

I disagree people won't support Obama as much and I think all you need as proof is the historical 2010 election and Wisconsin. Or New Jersey for that matter, Obama really has zero chance if your honest unless they cheat like Chicagoans do

I wonder if you realize......................

just how lame your response has been, in spite of the fact you corrected your error.

If or when you can provide some real facts that would indicate his incompetence to perform the job at hand, I might be inclined to pay attention to you.

As it is, there have been many, including VIP Dems, who can attest to his competence in the "real world."

But until then......................

I didnt say I was voting for him.. I want to END Corporate handouts for existing products. That's why I will be voting for a MORE qualified candidate named Gary Johnson.

I might HATE the leftist scapegoating and stupid campaign rhetoric. But I'm not stupid enough to vote for Republicans either..

No one with a Reagan quote in their sig is a non partisan prepared to vote for the democrat if they happen to be offering the best candidate, in fact you are advertising your partisanship for all to see, don't piss on us and tell us it's raining.

Coward, the libertarian Gary Johnson dodge is nothing but a handy way to avoid ever having to defend your position in real life situations.

Romney is not competent to run the country, it is already clear that he will be nothing but a willing tool of the GOP leadership and happy as a clam to accept orders from the Rovian powerbrokers. Hell, Rove will probably even finagle his way back into the white house again.

so what made u think Obama was competent? I still want to know this, what is the lefts obsession with not just "disagreeing" with republicans or anyone who thinks different but damn guy u are obessed with HATING anyone who disagrees with u. WHy the hate?

just goes to show how ignorant u choose to be i was young when Reagan was in office i was a democrat first and i respect what Reagan had done and what he was as a human being. You on the other hand are showing ur aggressiveness and foolishness by not talking to people or learning. Its a shame but ur right to do as u please.

U ever hear the saying "we can respect our enemy, we just dont have to like them" or something to that effect. But Reagan said it correctly "i didnt leave the party, the party left me" and thats true as a republican he was a democrat, and thats okay. If u read or listen to his speeches he didnt do a 180 because the wind went that way. He remained the person he was but changed parties, i respect that and i respect what he did for the country even if Dems want to point out he was a dem during his time. The man was a wonder and i just wnat to remind people what he did for this country, not as a republican but as a human being, sorry u cant do the same.

Gee, wonder if he was talking to me. Seems as though you're paying plenty of attention. Like most, you drastically overvalue how much I think about you. :eusa_clap: :eusa_clap: :eusa_clap:

The Governor was born rich, and to his credit, remained rich (it isn't that easy by the way), hasn't wanted for anything at any time in his life, neither has his beautiful family (again to his credit) and hasn't worked in 5 years. His "real world" is very different than any other world on earth.

Again, well done. :eusa_clap:

Look at President Obama's record in dealing with nuclear proliferation. He got the START Treaty signed (other presidents were not able to get this done; Reagan wanted it to be his "signature accomplishment").

Obama got it done without the US giving up any firepower. The "weapons" we gave up were all outdated and unusable. But, we still have the power to wipe out any country many hundreds of times over.

Mittens couldn't even handle the family dog!

The START Treaty was signed in 1991, proposed by Ronald Reagan, numbnuts.

It expired.

An EXTENSION was signed by Barry Hussein.

Get your facts in order, asswipe.

What, and ruin the story??

Glad that I amuse you.. These companies you're referencing had done a good job of LOADING THEMSELVES up with debt and making very bad decisions. Does that sound similiar to any GOVERNMENT that you know of today?

The alternative was to put the company in hospice and wait 30 days for it to expire and let the courts pick the bones.

Outsourcing jobs or MERGING the company into an existing partner is just a fact of life today and a totally diff issue. You CAN compete with cheap labor by investing shitloads of cash into factory updates and automation -- but that's NOT an option for a company that's been run aground like an Italian Cruiseship.

Plenty of examples of corporate "turn-arounds" there. Name one company that was healthy and well-managed before the private equity folks stepped in..

Not buying it for a minute, change it to a quote that calls for unity and understanding and we will talk.

OMG, this has got to be the funniest thing I've read in a hell of a long time. I must admit, that really does sound a lot nicer than VULTURE CAPITALISM.
