Facing the issue of school shootings is the pro-gunners first challenge.

The trouble is, too many Americans with bad intentions are gravitating toward AR type weapons to commit mass murder. They're intended for killing people and they do the job more efficiently than other weapons.
Millions of Americans are using them to shoot at human silouette targets and that's an indication of an approaching mental illness. They're honing their skills in preparation for the real thing. They're also dressing up in pseudo-military copycat costumes in order to make themselves fearful looking and to get attention.

Unfortunately, some of them aren't waiting for the Chicos to come and instead they go off in children's schools.

Banning only the black ones could do a lot of good by making them much less appealing to gun owners with those mental deficiencies. Making the AR's all white wouldn't effect anybody's rights but would discourage the good guys with guns who are intending on becoming bad guys with AR's.

In any case, the murder of millions in Viet Nam or any other of America's 40 wars since WW2, is no reason for you to be promoting more murder by gun. And especially not the most efficient military style weapons being used that produce higher numbers of dead children.

Yeah, no. Knives kill far more people than AR-15s and yet you dont want them banned.

We have over 20 million AR-15s in private hands and few are used in crime.
