I declare today the beginning of american history month!!!

By the beginning of the 1700s,african and mulatto slaves were used as the primary means of labor in the new world. In 1729,the carolinas divided, and in 1734,the georgia colony was established,as well as the virginia slave act was established, turning indentured servants into property.

After the italian discovery, spain and france sent several explorers,as well as sweden, and created settlements, from as far west as minnesota,to florida. The british first made landing on the new world in the late 1500s,early 1600s,wirh the.most famous being the mayflower landing at plymouth rock..England then started settling, and creating colonies, ironiçally, the first using the first colony settlements as a prison colony, and then atarted agricultural exploitation.....

The Italian discovery????????

At this time, then all thirteen colonies were established, selfgoverning, free to participate by most free people with an emphasis of focusing on ancient rights for the englishman established in those colonies.

All thirteen colonies had selfgovernance, with elections, again, open to all free men,and gave the first feelings of republicanism. All colonies,at this time, ratified the virginia slave act,and plantation owners now gained title to all indentured servants,MUCH TO THE dismay of local colonial governments,as the new georgia colony was the first to attempt abolition of this new colonial law,but an edict was signed and handed down by the king of england. Prominent mulattos and blacks, given service to their employers, little known fact, also bought, sold, and owned slaves as well.from this time, all the way to the emancipation proclamation, records verified at least over 3,500 prominent black slave owners in the southern colonies.

I wonder what the average black person would say if you asked him or her that, if it were in their power to do so, would go back to the early 1600s and (somehow) eliminate the institution of slavery across the entire western hemishpere..

I wonder how many would contemplate the implications of the "yes" answer they would almost certainly give.

Hmm. Sounds like a poll question.

Also,to continue onwards, with the high birth rate and low death rate in the colonies across the whole populous, immigration was increasing by leaps and bounds. Also,1730s and 1740s the christian religious revival movement sparked the first colobial dissent against the monarchy in the name of religious freedom.

Interesting, because prominent blacks had tge same power to hold slaves as well before the act if 1732.and still did until 1863,and also, alot fought for the cefederacy in the xivil war.little known hidden facts.

This movement was called the GREAT AWAKENING which again, called for rhe colonies civil and religioys freedoms from the monarchy. At this time, the british seized canada from the french.

By 1770,excluding the native american populations, the immigrant populous exploded to 2.6 million across all the colonies.

Although all the colonies were subject to british taxation at all levels, not a one had any parliamentry representation in britian.

Of course, tensions created the revolutionary war, fought from 1775 to 1781,and thomas jefferson drafted the declaration of independence in 1776.giving the unalienable right, that all men are created equal..

In 1777,the CONTINENTAL CONGRESS was a weak confederal form of governance established for the new independent colonies until 1789.

At this time, the articles of confederation were created also. After the defeat of the british,in 1789,they officially recognized the new country.

In 1787,anyone who wished to create a federal government with powers of taxation were to meet, and then,in 1789,the first constitution was drafted. at this time,as previously mentiobed, britian recognized the new nations sovreignty from the coast all the way to territories to the mississippi river.
