I believe Pornography and Strip clubs should be banned.

Because there are many children that could view their content and corrupt their lives. There are many of the clubs near where I live surrounding my elementary and high school. I live in a lower middle to a low class neighborhood and the adult content located within reach of a child or posted on walls where you get your hair cut was common. You have to be a certain age before you can enter a adult video store or strip club, there should be laws that prohibit adult content by being viewed by a minor at every place.

For example, you wouldn't want adult content posted inside the walls of a McDonalds. Yet some places would allow it. Some places have nude beaches and nude colonies. I'm not sure if they should be banned. Some places the other extreme is observed - women are not allowed to show any part of their bodies in public. In a perfect world, children would be free of Pornography and Adult content. Yet it is human nature to have attraction for the opposite sex.

In a perfect fantasy land but without porno we would probably have more rapist! I mean they tell you to let you little boy play with his privates so he won't develope a complex, I would think that would be the same sort of thing with adult entertainment.

OTOH, we could always ban elementary school children from being near strip joints.

We wouldn't want those strippers corrupted by children, now, would we?

I think he has far too much time on his hands.

Have you ever noticed that it's the most messed up people who so can't handle temptation that they want all sources of it removed from their line of sight.

Sad that he's a porn addict who needs government to protect him from his obsession.

You know i also believed that porn and stripping is no different than prostitution. Not only do I think it's wrong from a moral/religious point of view. But i think the whole sex industry is demeaning to women. It's makes women into to just objects.

and i never understood why a woman would even want to becomes a porn star or a stripper. I think women like that have issues.

Of course they had issues but what about the men who go to strip clubs, like I said before you are never going to stop men from seeking out adult entertainment. It would be like telling them not to pleasure themselves. This is also non issue, you are never going to get rid of adult entertainment.

A competent parent would not find whatever "corruption" is appurtenant to the content of adult entertainment terribly challenging.

Certainly not so much so that force of government must be excersized.

Is you point being the challenge of finding a route between your home and the school where you're not walking past adult establishments?

    Tell us about your pain.

Is this to spare you the trauma of having to use the words "penis" and "vagina" in a conversation with your child,...or mommy?

I don't think McDonalds would want that. I just can't seem to figure out your point.

You should come live in America. We don't force you, your children or your mommy to eat in restuarants that feature adult entertainment.

Don't worry! We won't ban them in the USA. It's AWESOME here!

Or go into a McDonalds. Funny.

Why would *that* be a perfect world?

I think a perfect world would be one where children were free from the influence of reactionary retards who are so incompetent at raising their children, that they actually demand, through legislation, that the "village" does it for them--and everyone else.

And enjoy an occasional lap-dance, or a peek at a boobie.:eusa_angel:

How about instead of outlawing everything you think is bad for society, you take responsibility for yourself and your children and do your OWN outlawing within your family to make sure your children aren't exposed to something you see as a "problem"?

I mean, porn doesn't have to affect your life if you just ignore it. It doesn't have to affect your children's lives either if you parent properly.

We should probably put everyone on an indefinite house arrest with nothing more than work release, 'cause it's a dangerous, filthy world out there!

I used to date a stripper when I live in Boston.

I was managing a small real estate empire and I had a college degree.

She'd dropped out of high school

She made three times as much a week as I did, and most of her income was tax free because she got it as tips.

    Does that answer your question?

    She did have issues, though.

    I have issues too,

    You don't?

Yeah who doesn't have issues of some sort especially someone who sees strippers as a downfall of society, isn't it the men who keep them employed the real problem and the person who first posted this probably as a husband or boyfriend who a stripper problem.

    Agreed.

Is it a problem? That fine young woman made a very good living taking off her clothes and hustling drinks to lonely men.

She eventually went into the Navy, incidently. Wonder how she's doing now?

That presumes a lot, I think.

I wouldn't want strip joint near my house either.

They're creepy places and some pretty creepy people seem to hang out near them.

I am not saying the man is problem really I was just stating it is more on the men you pay for the strippers then the strippers themselves, I should of worded it differently. I wouldn't want a strip club near my house either! But I also wouldn't buy a house near one either. Half the time the people move by one and then get made because they live near a strip club. And as for the men being the problem I would rather them go to a strip club then pick up a prostitute or something worse. Like I said before it is just like they tell you when you have alittle boy not to stop him from playing with penis because he will develope a complex.
