I am NOT driving my recalled Toyota...

Also remember they are in direct competition with the now government-run GMC.

That makes them a target.

How could they not like EZ? She's the most likeable person in the world, and that irritates the shit out of me. There must be SOMETHING about her that's annoying...I've tried to find it, but it's just not there. So I am condemned to like her and support her in all she says...even if I don't agree. Which happens amazingly infrequently. Weird.

Ravi is also likeable, the poor deluded little thing. She drives me nuts and I can find plenty to disagree with her about, but for the most part she shows a tiny bit of class and humor.

i agree...though EZ doesn't irritate me

Bought a new Camry today. 19K total walk out price.
For the uninformed dumbasses: MOST models are UNAFFECTED on this pedal issue.
News flash: The media blows stuff out of proportion.
We are becoming a nation of village idiots.

What a bunch of nonsense. Toyota has a great safety record and produces superior cars. GM and Chrysler could learn plenty from them. GM has had 5x more recalls than Toyota.
Auto Recalls Scoreboard listed by Manufacturer - myCarStats.com

1,541 Chevrolet Recalls
283 Buick Recalls
845 GMC Recalls
26 Hummer Recalls
410 Pontiac Recalls
196 Saturn Recalls
286 Oldsmobile Recalls
221 Cadillac Recalls

567 Toyota Recalls

Your car is safe to drive. Go to the dealer, they'll fix the gas pedal. The sun will still rise tomorrow.

they pulled all camry's off the lot....so how did you buy one?

I think a lot of this hullabaloo about Toyota is nothing more than the auto unions and our government trying to harm Toyota. I'm sure that some models have an accelerator problem but if things were as bad as some would have you believe, we would all be dodging and trying to get out of the path of out of control Toyota's. Our new socialist leaders will go after Honda and Nisson next with the state run media playing right along, wait and see.

I think you are right.

Thanks Willow Tree,

You are an idiot. I bought mine at Cherokee Toyota in Canton, Ga. Went to Sandy Springs Toyota and Roswell Toyota TODAY and looked at over 100 Camrys. Test drove a dozen.
I bet you 100K CASH that I bought that brand new Camry today. Need the VIN # Einstein?
Pony up the cash?
ALL Siennas and other models are UNAFFECTED. Many Camrys are UNAFECTED.
100 K CASH bet Einstein. Put up the cash up?
What you say Clyde?
You are very uninformed.

until Toyota tows it in and repairs it. Barring that, they can have it back.

I decided this before La Hood said not to drive them...why he apologized for saying that is a mystery.

And now the Prius is also screwed up?

Are you driving a Ravi 4?

Camrys built in Japan are not part of the recall.

Good time to buy a Camry.

I thought about doing it myself, since my Camry has 199,000 miles on it.

I know what I saw today.
I am a former defensive end my brotha. Chase the QB and the ball. Did so for many years.
Call it defensive as I do not care.
I am 19K poorer now and saw hundreds of Camrys on the lot today. ALL for sale.

Ravi...for buying the Toyota and driving it. She knew it was a piece of shit when she bought it.
:eusa_eh: I didn't know it had this problem when I bought it and aside from that Toyota does not have a reputation for selling shit cars.

If Toyota doesn't admit to a design flaw, send me my recall notice, and tell me not to drive the car how would I be culpable?
