I just got back from the local Greek Orthodox church's Greek festival. Lots of high carb greek pastry, souvlaki, gyros, etc. Lots of really good food.
What was fun was the greek invited everyone over, and all the vietnamese, armenians, lots of scots, germans, french, koreans etc. came to the party.
In much of the world if you go to the wrong church you get shot at, if you are not the local ethic you are despised, but here everyone gets together some for some good dancing, good drinks, good music, good fattening food, and parties together.
Only here. And it is good.
