The frustration with President Barack Obama over his tax cut compromise was palpable and even profane at Thursday’s House Democratic Caucus meeting.

One unidentified lawmaker went so far as to mutter “f--- the president” while Rep. Shelley Berkley was defending the package the president negotiated with Republicans. Berkley confirmed the incident, although she declined to name the specific lawmaker.

“It wasn’t loud,” the Nevada Democrat said. “It was just expressing frustration from a very frustrated Member.”

Rep. Jerrold Nadler (N.Y.) was also overheard saying that “we can’t trust him” not to cave to Republicans and extend the tax cuts again in two years, according to a Democratic source.

Profanity, Anger Spill Over in House Democratic Caucus Meeting : Roll Call

Okay, I turned out to be right. If this deal fails it's going to hurt Democrats. How are they going to spin this as a Republican failure? Democrats are making it heard, loud and clear, they are committed to having YOUR taxes go up!

Now, they are going to try and spin this as a Republican fail, but it's not going to work. The Republicans did exactly what Demcrats whined for, for weeks. They "compromised."

As usual, Democrats don't compromise. They only talk about it, when they think they can get the other side to compromise their principles.

And we have another case of hypocrisy. Remember when Democrats took to their smelling salts when Limbaugh said, "I hope he fails."

I mean we were told to want Obama to fail was to want the country to fail.

NOW that Democrats don't like what Obama is doing. SUDDENLY, THAT'S DIFFERENT.

NOW it's OKAY to not only want the president to fail, BUT to say "f**k the president?"

Does that mean Democrats are saying that to the country as well?

We have THREE HUGE EXAMPLES in one week OF DEMOCRAT HYPOCRISY.

You libs just gave up three of your smears against conservatives.

This is so funny to watch!

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Well thank goodness he didn't say, HE LIED.

I'm sure the Democrats in Congress would of wanted to censure him and the lefties would be in the streets calling for a PUBLIC HANGING.

Seems to me that I told you folks that the DEMS in Congress weren't on board with this compromise, just a few days ago.

I mean I know some of you conservative partisans think that the Dems are marching in lockstep, just as some liberals think you guys are linked at the hip (those paying attention know the GOP is also fractured, idealogically)m but seriously the parties are not the monoliths some of you think they are.

This is going to be one of the more interesting comprmises you and I are likely to see in our lifetimes.

The issues that are being bantered around right now go to the very heart of the CLASS WAR that this nation has been having now for at least the last 40 years.

When times were good, we could pretend it wasn't happening,

But now?

Now its getting serious and better still, its getting so obvious that it will take a partisan blindfold not to acknowledge it.

Here's the thing...

Every tax law had different consequences to the different classes in this nation.

We can tell ourselves that we are classless society, but the tax laws tell us something very different.

Shall we soak the rich to help the poor?

Shall we pretend that somebody making 250K is in the SAME CLASS as somebody making 1000 times at much?

That pretending that the 250K income per year class is in the same class as the SUPER rich is a perfect example of the class war, in fact.

Making those productive middle class people (making $250K a year, I mean) pay taxes at the same rate as somebody making many many times more) was one of the smart moves of the SUPERWEALTHY class, folks.

But hey. they're not fools.

They know they are few in number so they insist that the more affluent in the working class (who are greater in number) must share their pain to offset their taxes.

It is PRECISELY those highly productive upper middle class people who the RICH are fucking.

Not the poor, its the RICH who are screwing those people.

Well, seems to me, I've been laughing at the Dems all week, because they were NOT on board with this compromise.

Libs have been screaming for Obama's blood all week, which seems real funny because any talk like that on the right was "racist."

But, NOW it's okay coming from liberals?

Plus, it proves that Democrats are small, tax and spend, class envy, socialists we have always knew they were.

They just cannot STAND that they aren't going to raise taxes like they want. They were just salivating over the prospect and Obama got between them on that. They weren't going to stand for that.

I said this deal could fall through. Looks like it will.

they are just racists. There are no other explanations.

Yep! They resent a black man as president. You can tell that, because most of the Democrats in Congress are white.

That's what they told us about the Tea Party!

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

It's always the party of "tolerance of other's views" that brings out the F bombs...LOL :lol::lol::lol:

Yeah, why aren't people like vayank calling these people racists????? We all know that any disagreement between white people and black people is based on race right? At least that's what us Conservatives are told...

Well, it is time for the Dems to simply say "NO" to the Republicans, and the President, also. This blackmail of holding the victims of 9-11 as well as the unemployed that the very wealthy created through their felonies is completely transparent to all now.

Time to get tough, and close down the Republican schemes for creating an American Oligarchy.

Pelosi is a hateful and incompetent skank. You can't have compromise and Bipartisanship as long as she's in charge for Democrats. Even some Democrats are realizing what an evil skank she is. You can't achieve compromise with deranged ideologues.

The hypocrisy is claiming to be a fiscal conservative, and then increasing the deficit. The criminal aspect to this is holding money needed by Americans that responded to their nations need on 9-11 hostage to increasing the wealth of the very rich.

Bipartisan? Hell no. Just say no. Let the tax cuts expire, and keep them expired. Pelosi is right. Then show the loopholes that let the very rich pay less a percentage of their income in taxes than the working poor.

Give it back to the Republicans in spades. No compromise, no bipartasinship at all. Grid lock the Senate, and make sure that nothing the House passes gets by the Senate.

:

Do you support the president's position on this tax bill?

Before the Dems proceed any furthur, I think they need to stop and ask themselves an essential question:

What would Tyler Durden do?
