If Putin and other world leaders hoped Trump would win can you blame them? So that maybe just maybe the rest of the world could take a breather from the non stop US interference in the world.

And the list I'm giving from a book called Killing Hope by William Blum stops at 2004. So it doesn't include all of Obama and Hillary's interventions since they took power.

Oh like backing the overthrow of Mubarak and giving Egypt to the MB, or destroying Libya by backing that coup by terrorists, then we have Syria and Obama still wants to hand Syria over to the MB by ousting Assad.

Swell move on Syria. It's given the world ISIS. Oh and then the Ukraine. Backing the violent overthrow of a duly elected President and government.

Don't forget Obama and his former campaign staff trying to oust Bibi. Then there's Obama's Jim Messina put as an aide to David Cameron who also tried to block Brexit.

Here's a partial list from this book:

Killing Hope
U.S. Military and CIA Interventions Since World War II (including manufacturing news)

"If you flip over the rock of American foreign policy of the past century, this is what crawls out… invasions … bombings … overthrowing governments … occupations … suppressing movements for social change … assassinating political leaders … perverting elections … manipulating labor unions … manufacturing “news” … death squads … torture … biological warfare … depleted uranium … drug trafficking … mercenaries …"

This is just a partial list. Rest at link.

Donald Trump’s business success means that he’s is a smart man who will quickly adapt to his new role as president, Russian Vladimir Putin said.

The fact that Trump managed to achieve success in business, suggests that he is a smart man,” Putin said in an interview with Russia’s NTV channel.

And as he is smart, that means he will fully and quite quickly be aware of a different level of responsibility. We assume that he will be acting this way,” he added.

We understand the extent of our responsibility and are sincerely willing to take part in solving global and regional problems, of course, where our involvement is appropriate, necessary, and in demand,” the president stated.
Putin: Trump is smart, will soon be aware of different level of responsibility

Putin: Sadly, Russia-US relations have deteriorated considerably over these last years, but this is not our fault. Now that the election campaign is over in the United States and a new president will soon enter the White House, we hope that this will create an opportunity to improve these relations, which are so important not only for our two peoples, but also for ensuring international stability and security. During my recent telephone conversation with Mr Donald Trump, we agreed that something must certainly be done about the current unsatisfactory state of bilateral relations. As I have said, our country is ready to cover its part of the road.

“The precise pain, in the precise place, in the precise amount, for the desired effect.”

Just a taste. Rest at link.

"On another occasion, Hevia sat with Mitrione in the latter’s house, and over a few drinks the American explained to the Cuban his philosophy of interrogation.

Mitrione considered it to be an art. First there should be a softening-up period, with the usual beatings and insults. The object is to humiliate the prisoner, to make him realize his helplessness, to cut him off from reality.

No questions, only blows and insults. Then, only blows in silence.

Only after this, said Mitrione, is the interrogation.

Here no pain should be produced other than that caused by the instrument which is being used. “The precise pain, in the precise place, in the precise amount, for the desired effect,” was his motto.

During the session you have to keep the subject from losing all hope of life, because this can lead to stubborn resistance. “You must always leave him some hope … a distant light.”

“When you get what you want, and I always get it,” Mitrione continued, “it may be good to prolong the session a little to apply another softening-up. Not to extract information now, but only as a political measure, to create a healthy fear of meddling in subversive activities.”

The American pointed out that upon receiving a subject the first thing is to determine his physical state, his degree of resistance, by means of a medical examination.

“A premature death means a failure by the technician … It’s important to know in advance if we can permit ourselves the luxury of the subject’s death.”
