Why are there a billion threads allowed to stand in the politics section that call Trump a secret Russian Agent, but when a fair comparison is made between Democrats and Nazis, it is immediately shuffled off to some nutty section of the forum!! If there is anything nutty, its calling Trump a Russian agent. Those are the threads that belong in the crazy section. My thread on a side by side comparison of Democrats and Nazis behaviors was methodical and systematic.

The double standard going on in this forum are palpable.

Also, my threads are being merged with other threads that say the exact opposite thing that my threads says. WTF!! We need fair and balanced mods, or some sort of check and balance or something.

You shouldn't complain about moderator actions in public, it is also against forum policy.

No Discussing infractions, bans, banned members, or specific moderator actions or duties on the open boards. Issues with moderation should be taken up privately with moderators in PM

I thought this was the feedback section. I was just giving feedback on what seems to be a trend that has been going on for a while. Maybe we need a feedback section where only moderators are allowed to reply and forum members are allowed to view the replies. That would be pretty good

By the way, I have sent a few PM's and it's worthless. The mods who are sympathetic say they cannot undo the actions of another mod, and the other mods who are not sympathetic pretty much tell you to f*** off in so many words

Merges are done by TOPIC.. Not by the slant in the OP... If there's a left one and right one -- doesn't matter to the process if the topic is the same.. They ALL get merged or closed. And moderation has no CONTROL OVER how the merge places posts in a merge.. It goes by "time of post"... SOMETIMES -- we'll "cool" the title to something more moderate.. But that's ALL we do...

Threads that fail because they are contentious are not a "moderation problem"... It's more than likely it's NOT the OP that causes the move, but the brawl that follows...

Write BETTER OPs... Try to use moderation YOURSELF when you bring up a topic.. Save the piss/vinegar for the 3rd page... Your threads (both right and left and crazy) will have a better chance not suffering infant mortality...

This should be in PM.. Address it MULTIPLE mods of your choice.. We do not want to embarrass any members by relieving them of their misconceptions in front of an audience.. And all this accomplishes is to have 1/2 the forum accuse staff of being lefties and the other 1/2 accuse us of being righties..

I'm sure if you look at a weeks worth of failed threads in Badlands or the Rubber Room, you'll get a fairer view that the mod staff hates all this juvenile rabid partisan crap equally....

I assume she thinks she is exposing something, but she needs to look beyond her own threads/posts
to read the room with how moderators go about the business of cleaning up after class.
If she was honest, she would admit that it is done as fairly as could be expected.

If you want better responses to threads you start, DETAIL the subject - outline it! Don't leave it OPEN for speculation. If someone opposes your opinion, that's ok. You don't counter it by attacking that person; instead, get FACTS and argue the point they are trying to make. Better yet, ask why they feel the way they do. Try to get at the reason behind it. If you can do all that while being civil, you'll keep the thread on topic.
