Now what other profession is exempt from their negligence? And since doctors are dealing with life in their profession they SHOULD BE THE LAST to get any exemptions from liability.

Its not even true in many countries that have fully socialized medicine. In Canada doctors still have to carry malpractice insurance and still get sued and have to pay out when they fuck up. You're full of horeshit. In this country doctors (and lawyers) are personally liable for their malpractice. If a doctor fucks up and the hospital (or his employer) itself had nothing to do with it - you sue the doctor personally. It doesn't matter if they work for a government run hospital or not.
