Hyper inflation in Iran

That's why Iran had increased its efforts to build that nuclear bomb. It's a national priority.

They are in a race between finding something to distract their young population and said population finally getting sick enough of the current government to do something about it.

Suppression of votes and speech wasnt enough to truly ignite the masses in Iran. having to spend a 2 days wages on 1 meal? That might get them riled up enough to do something.

Mad enough to do something but do what? They are mad enough to double or triple efforts to develop the bomb because that's the path they see out of sanctions. Sanctions have made them more determined than ever.

Our last chance to ignite what masses that there are, happened in 2009. When obama said no help as firmly as he did, the masses had no choice but to work with the government on bomb development because it is the only path available to them. There will be no uprising against the Ayatollahs. That window has closed and been nailed shut. The Iranian people are all motivated by a single goal, build as many nuclear bombs as they can before Israel loses patience.

Innocent Iranian citizens must starve and suffer because the Israeli government doesn't like the Iranian leadership.

No wonder most of the world detests the U.S. for kowtowing to it's master Israel.

Israel would do the world a favor if it made the whole of Iran into a glowing pit in the ground. I'm sorry because I have a lot of friends and business associates in Iran but that's what it will take.

I think the government and those who support the government agree on building the bomb. I dont think the people on the street see it as such a priority. You have to remember how controlled the society is.

If your view is what is actually happening, then the hyperinflation should have no impact, as the people will go along with hardship if they trully want to be an atomic power.

I hope, however, that the Mullahs and the Army have misread the people's desire, and the people do something about it.

Maybe if the assholes in charge of Iran stopped saying Israel has to wiped off the face of the earth while manufacturing weapons to do such a thing, then their economy wouldnt be in the shitter.

I know people in Iran. My company has an office in Iran. The owners of my company are all, as in 100% Iranian.

The people are suffering, but they believe that the way to end that suffering is to become a major nuclear power. Even the intelligent and not easily led of Iran who don't agree with the Ayatollahs and consider them totally insane understand that. They don't like it. They wish it were different, but they understand it.

If anything Iranians, in Iran and expatriates here, despise obama more than their own insane leaders. The students, those who are looking to replace the theocratic and oppressive government tried in 2009 to replace that regime and obama refused all aid. He effectively shut down the budding revolution during gestation.

Read this. It isn't a republican website, there are no tea party people here.

President Obama, you undermined the 2009 Iranian Uprising | Iranian.com

Mr. President, People of Iran would like you to know that they do not recognize the terrorist Islamic regime in Iran as their legitimate government. This brutal regime has basically usurped the country Iran with the support of couple of millions of its own paid theocratic mercenaries and has taken the Iranian people as hostage. The people of Iran have had 3000 years of Persian history; they are the founders of the principles of human rights whose emblem has been erected at the entrance of the United Nation. Persian culture and language among Iranians has inherited form one generation to next generation and has always been respected, maintained and remained uninfluenced under the assault of foreign cultures and cults during this period of time.

Mr. President, It was during June 2009 when the people of Iran took to the streets and fired their landslide protest against the fraudulent election by millions. The brutal occupier regime in Iran began cracking down on the protestors, and while people screaming in agony you choose to stay silent and bear witness, saying “We don’t know how this thing is going to play out.” Somehow, that statement didn’t blow our mind like “hope and change,” but that’s exactly how you felt about Iran. The Iranians went on protest and lost their lives and you just watched. In fact, a poll was released at the time, which showed only single digits of Americans approved of the way you handled of the situation; even approval among Democrats was in the single digits. Democrats and Republicans were both unhappy with your weak, casual position on Iran, some were saying you were acting timid, many were upset that you didn’t show much support for the citizen freedom fighters in Iran.

obama did what he always does, he was weak. Because he was weak and failed to show leadership, Iran is quadrupling its efforts to build as many nuclear bombs as it can. Because obama was weak and lacked leadership, the Iranian people have no choice but to go along with that leadership. Do you think, by any stretch, that after what obama did in 2009 there is going to be some kind of uprising? There might be irritation, resentment, but no uprising.

Although there were ten's of thousands of protesters in 2009 against the government of Iran.

There were 10X as many Pro government citizens who took to the streets in support of the Iranian leadership.

But the U.S./Western media chose to only show the anti-government malcontents; and not the millions of Iranians who support the government.

It is hard to tell the difference between people who support the government, and people who are afraid of it. Also the "supporters" in the streets were backed up by the police, the militias, and the military. A bit of a force multiplier.

Today, the malcontents know better than to say anything. They will stand back, keep their mouths shut and support the government's pursuit of nuclear arms. That's why sanctions have failed and how Iran is using diplomacy to delay the inevitable so they have more time to get their job done.

It challenges the phrase, "The people get the government they deserve." Iran and the Iranians are ancient, noble and worthy of respect. It really is too bad that due to outside meddling in their history they have come to the situation in which they find themselves. We should be friends with them, yet it seems we are enemies.
That should change.

Are you kidding? MUSLIMS can't be friends with other muslims!

The meddling started with muslims taking over Iran forcing the Persians to renounce their religion to covert to islam.

Iran should just stop fucking around with nukes and just make a whole bunch of kababs with saffron rice, tomatoes and khubbuz instead.
