Humans, not climate change, wiped out Australian megafauna

well, one for sure the aboriginals were not a bunch of hippies when they arrived to the Australia .... comments ?

Since the prevailing theory has always been that humans wiped out the Australian megafauna shortly after they arrived in Australia, what's the point of the thread?

Blaming megafauna extinction on only humans or environment is short sighted. It was likely a combination of factors, maybe even some not even posited yet. They didn't disappear in a year so it was a process.

its somehow very controversial today, many in the west say that the only the White men can destroy environment, the aboriginals have always lived in harmony with all animals, flowers , and birds

why we see the same story everywhere, when humans have arrived , megafauna vanished ?
