I have noticed that the media does not report honestly about abortion. Here are some facts I discovered, facts usually ignored.

1) Planned Parenthood profits by covering up child abuse.

quote: The dirty little secret is that Planned Parenthood and the National Abortion Federation know they will sell more abortions, more birth control products and more treatments for sexually transmitted diseases when they turn a blind eye to child rape.

Planned Parenthood abortion clinics provide protection for child molesters, sexual predators

2) Partial-birth abortion is essentially torturing an infant to death. Thousands of healthy babies with healthy mothers have been killed by this procedure.

quote: Partial-Birth Abortion is a procedure in which the abortionist pulls a living baby feet-first out of the womb and into the birth canal (vagina), except for the head, which the abortionist purposely keeps lodged just inside the cervix (the opening to the womb). The abortionist punctures the base of the baby's skull with a surgical instrument, such as a long surgical scissors or a pointed hollow metal tube called a trochar. He then inserts a catheter (tube) into the wound, and removes the baby's brain with a powerful suction machine. This causes the skull to collapse, after which the abortionist completes the delivery of the now-dead baby.

quote: According to Ron Fitzsimmons, executive director of the National Coalition of Abortion Providers (1997), and other sources, it appears that partial-birth abortions are performed 3,000 to 5,000 times annually. (Even those numbers may be low.) Based on published interviews with numerous abortionists, and interviews with Fitzsimmons in 1997, the "vast majority" of partial-birth abortions are performed in the fifth and sixth months of pregnancy, on healthy babies of healthy mothers.

The Facts of Partial-Birth Abortion

3) The Nazis were pro-choice on abortion in the occupied territories.

quote from Hitler: They may use contraceptives or practice abortion--the more the better. In view of the large families of the native population, it could only suit us if girls and women there had as many abortions as possible. Active trade in contraceptives ought to be actually encouraged in the Eastern territories, as we could not possibly have the slightest interest in increasing the non-Germanic population. (Harvest of Hate, 1954, pp. 273-4)

quote: On 27 April 1943 Prof. Erhard Wetzel, Racial Administrator for the Reich's Eastern Territories Ministry, wrote this memorandum: Every propaganda means, especially the press, radio, and movies, as well as pamphlets, booklets, and lectures, must be used to instill in the Russian population the idea that it is harmful to have several children. We must emphazise the expenses that children cause, the good things that people could have had with the money spent on them. We could also hint at the dangerous effect of child-bearing on a woman's health. Paralleling such propaganda, a large-scale campaign would be launched in favor of contraceptive devices. A contraceptive industry must be established. Neither the circulation and sale of contraceptives nor abortions must be prosecuted. It will even be necessary to open special institutions for abortion, and to train midwives and nurses for this purpose. The population will practice abortion all the more willingly if these institutions are competently operated. (Harvest of Hate, pp.272-3)

4) Doctor Mengele's career choice after he escaped to Argentina? Abortionist.

quote: According to the documents released today, Josef Mengele, the Auschwitz death camp doctor known as the "Angel of Death" for his experiments on inmates, practiced medicine in Buenos Aires for several years in the 1950's. He "had a reputation as a specialist in abortions," which were illegal. When one young woman died from his treatment, he was taken before a Buenos Aires judge, who detained him only briefly.

5) Since ancient times, in societies secular and religious, abortion has been condemned. The American Medical Association, feminists like Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony, and even Planned Parenthood condemned abortion.

The Hippocratic Oath and abortion « Eternity Matters

quote: Ultimately, Foster said Schiff’s summary of the early feminists' beliefs parallels her own previous analysis that "Without known exception, the early American feminists condemned abortion in the strongest possible terms."

6) The pro-life position is increasingly popular.

quote: In 2005, the women’s magazine Glamour ran a story on the “mysterious disappearance of young pro-choice women.” It noted that a 2003 CBS/New York Times poll had found that 35 percent of young women (aged 18–29) thought that “abortion should be available to anyone who wants it.” Fifty percent of the young women of 1993 had thought that. It quoted Alexander Sanger of Planned Parenthood: “I’ve seen the numbers and I find them unbelievably shocking. Isn’t it obvious that young women have to be at the forefront of fighting for their reproductive rights because they’re the ones who need them?” It isn’t obvious to many young women.

Winning, and Losing, on Abortion by Ramesh Ponnuru on National Review / Digital

quote: A number of recent polls show that the majority of Americans are pro-life and favor more restrictions on abortion, and that the number of Americans who identify themselves as pro-abortion/pro-choice has dropped to its lowest in the past seven years.

Latest National Polls Show Sharp Increase in Number of Pro-Life Americans

quote: A new Gallup Poll, conducted May 7-10, finds 51% of Americans calling themselves "pro-life" on the issue of abortion and 42% "pro-choice." This is the first time a majority of U.S. adults have identified themselves as pro-life since Gallup began asking this question in 1995.

More Americans "Pro-Life" Than "Pro-Choice" for First Time

7) The U.S. has had some of the most extreme pro-abortion policies in the world.

quote: About abortion she [Mary Ann Glendon] states: "Today, in order to find a country where the legal approach to abortion is as indifferent to unborn life as it is in the United States, we have to look to countries which are much less comparable to us politically, socially, culturally and economically, and where concern about population expansion overrides "both women's liberty and fetal life."

8 ) Sex-selective abortion has eliminated tens of millions of girls.

quote: It is estimated that by 2020 there could be more than 35 million young "surplus males" in China and 25 million in India.

10) quote from Margaret Sanger: "we do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population". Her organization, Planned Parenthood, has targetted African-Americans and other supposedly "unfit" ethnic groups for extermination. Sanger was an ardent eugenicist closely connected to Nazi tool Lothrop Stoddard.

Black & Unwanted | TooManyAborted.com

quote: Margaret Sanger appointed Lothrop Stoddard as a board member of the Birth Control League (the forerunner of Planned Parenthood). What did Stoddard think about Nazi eugenics? Author Stefan Kuhl writes:

When the Nazis came to power, argued Stoddard, they started to increase "both the size and the quality of the population." They coupled initiatives designed to encourage "sound" citizens to reproduce with a "drastic curb of the defective elements." Stoddard personally witnessed how the Nazis were "weeding out the worst strains in the Germanic stock in a scientific and truly humanitarian way."

Dehumanizing is always the first tactic of those that want to abuse vulnerable populations. People of Color are often portrayed as unfeeling criminals or stupid subhumans. Even the indifferent and the cold-hearted can't view pictures of human embryos and dismiss these unborn babies as only "clumps of cells".

Rights for the Most Vulnerable
The problem is you and others on the right are too lazy or disingenuous to do the hard work needed to end the practice of abortion in a legal manner that comports with the Constitution and its case law.

‘Banning’ abortion is not going to end it, and those on the right who advocate such idiocy as ‘overturning Roe’ seek only to jeopardize our civil liberties while allowing abortion to continue.

to end the practice of abortion in a legal manner
That's the intent of the pro-life movement.

‘Banning’ abortion is not going to end it,
False.

Legalization doesn't end "back alley abortions", it increases them.

Pro-life and Pro-choice labels reduce the discussion to the extremes, and you dwell on the one extreme. Yes, partial birth abortions of a viable baby is absolute murder. On the other hand, forcing a 13 year-old who is one day pregnant as the result of being raped by her father to carry the baby to term is just as arrogantly abominable.

I dwell mostly on the right, and, even though morality is the only thing that should be legislated, abortion is the most complex moral issue we face, the Constitution doesn't address it directly. How do we determine hard and fast moral rules about it when we're dealing with a sexually mature mother with full human rights, and a zygote/fetus that is evolving from one cell to a human child? At issue is the quesiton of when we acquire the right to life which is as much a grey area as acquiring our other rights to liberty, property and self-defense.

Pro-life and Pro-choice labels reduce the discussion to the extremes,
Let's err on the side of protecting helpless human life.

I completely disagree. The issue is very simple. Do we protect life or not? The issue is raised only because our elites are desperate to exterminate populations they consider inferior and useless. Our elites employ deception to fool the unwary into supporting abortion.

At present U.S. law is extreme regarding abortion. The U.S. is far more pro-abortion than many of the European countries.
