Howard Stern going after Bush

Yea hes been doing ever since that batch of fines from the FCC. Nevermind the fact that Howard is a has been DJ milking anymore money he can for a few more years.

Opie and Anthony have said this LONG before the FCC came down hard after the Super Bowl. O&A were kicked off the air for an alleged Sex Scandal in a church in NYC over 3 years ago. Before they were kicked off they knew what was coming. they warned everyone that was laughing at them (Howard included who at the time said they went over the line  ) that they were next on the chopping block. Low and behold FCC starts fining away.

Howard thinks this is a vendetta against him personally because he decided to back Kerry instead of Bush. So now Bush is getting back at Howard. His an egotistical moron. Bush has much more to lose by alienating a guy like Stern because of the audience he pulls in. This is simply an FCC that has been out of control for awhile and has finally gotten to Stern again. This has nothing to do with Bush. But stern thinks the world revolves around him.

Yup, if those who listen to him are actually stupid enough to vote for Kerry just because he tells them too, well, that is the kind of ignorance that puts people like Billiary in the White House.

He's just got his panties in a bunch becasue his foul mouth and lack of moral character finally got the best of him.

With rights come responsibilities for cryin' out loud.

I got no problem with him saying what he wants. If people don't listen then he gets fired. I simply don't listen anymore. Mainly because he stopped being funny a long time ago.

People are allowed to have choices. I don't like the FCC telling me what i can and cant watch.

Agreed - however, he needs to accept reponsibility for his own crap. FCC said clean up your act or we fine you (FCC grants the license). He didn't. His employer took the hit. It was up to the employer to control the employee and they didn't. They get fined - Stern gets fired.

Howard Stern going against bush is a joke. I mean what, us Bush supporters are supposed to be swayed by this HIS political opinion? He's never been political!!
Actually, he is pretty funny, but that's all he is to me....I would never take political advise from the likes of him. Actually, it's funny because my favorite radio show host Micheal Savage has been going against Stern and calling him Coward Sterno on the air!!

Howard Stern is taking responsibility for his own crap - via the relatively free market place. At the very least, the FCC should stop its patronizing and baby-sitting behavior - dictating what things people may or may not say over television and radio. I'd like to see the FCC abolished. It is just another example of how the US is progressing (or regressing) into more of a "nanny-state".

Not that washed up.
I was just happy to see his website, that's all.

"The FCC won't let me be,
won't let me be me...on MTV"

Mmmmmm. HGROKIT displayed the word "crap" on this message board. Shame, shame on you. Some adult might notice your bad language and be traumatized for life. I'm telling the FCC and encourage it to appropriately punish you. Perhaps it will fine you thousands of dollars.

:D

Why worry Stern has zero effect on elections.

Hey Evil you up for allowing anybody to say whatever the hell they want on radio or T.V.? I can just see Sesame Street now: "hey bird you stupid yellow fuck go wake that sonofabitch Oscar up and tell that smelly motherfucker to take a shower and get ready to discuss the letter of the day "B".

Yeah getting rid of the FCC sounds like a good idea, right?

Oh my gosh. How dare they say such nasty things about a great show like Sesame Street! We can't allow that.

Yes, oh great one. Protect us from the evils of Howard Stern. Help me to change the station or turn off the device. Better yet, keep him off the air. Have the FCC fine him $5,000,000 for every "dirty word" he utters? Protect our sensitive adult ears. You know what is best for us. Protect us from our own foolish decisions on what to see or hear. You decide things for us. We place ourselves in your hands.

If you don't like the a show, don't watch it. If you really don't like what it exposes, boycott it. If you really really don't like it, and don't want other people to see it, lead an economic boycott of it and its sponsors. Just because you don't like a show, is not a legitimate reason for it to be outlawed.

- LOL - I try to avoid calling people names but if you really stand by your comment then you are truly arrogantly and self-righteously pathetic.

Lol Matts you aren't ever worth a damn for intelligent debate but damn you make me crack up kind of like the sea otters at the zoo. They do some stupid shit just like you say some stupid shit.

Do you think that people can regulate theirselves on every single thing in life? I agree about some deregulation but do you think a person should be able to use the airwaves to do or say as he pleases without consequence? That is the idea of a fucking idiot!

Who is "[using] Howard Stern to point out how wrong Bush is?"

Here's some "Columbine" quotes for ya, Evil:

Michael Moore: Well, here's my first question. Do you think it's kind of dangerous handing out guns at a bank?
-----
Chris Rock: You don't need no gun control. You know what you need? Bullet control. I think all bullets should cost $5000. You know why? If a bullet cost $5000 there'd be no more innocent bystanders.
-----
Marilyn Manson: The two by-products of that whole tragedy were, violence in entertainment, and gun control. And how perfect that that was the two things that we were going to talk about with the upcoming election. And also, then we forgot about Monica Lewinsky and we forgot about, uh, the President was shooting bombs overseas, yet I'm a bad guy because I, well I sing some rock-and-roll songs, and who's a bigger influence, the President or Marilyn Manson? I'd like to think me, but I'm going to go with the President.
Michael Moore: Do you know that on the day of the Columbine massacre, the US dropped more bombs on Kosovo than any other day?
Marilyn Manson: I do know that, and I think that's really ironic, that nobody said 'well maybe the President had an influence on this violent behavior' Because that's not the way the media wants to take it and spin it, and turn it into fear, because then you're watching television, you're watching the news, you're being pumped full of fear, there's floods, there's AIDS, there's murder, cut to commercial, buy the Acura, buy the Colgate, if you have bad breath they're not going to talk to you, if you have pimples, the girl's not going to fuck you, and it's just this campaign of fear, and consumption, and that's what I think it's all based on, the whole idea of 'keep everyone afraid, and they'll consume.'
