How would people react to a movie where a Chinese corporation takes over California?

How would people react if someone made a movie where an American town or state has a ruined economy and is forced to turn to a Chinese corporation which provides it with free healthcare and well paying jobs but comes at a price with it's high school students forced to go through indoctrination which tells the student that "radical American individualism" such as casual sex and video games are bad?

The oppression goes on for a while but then people are finally fed up with it and rebel. The Chinese corporation has a vast and technologically advanced mercenary force. The Chinese are on the verge of winning but a US military or UN peacekeeper force manages to break through their defenses. Freedom is restored and soon the world hears about this and builds up a military force to surround and blockade China.

What would conservatives think of this movie? How would liberals react to this movie?
