there is no equality if you ONLY include income taxes in your ''equality calculations'', which doesn't even pay for 1/3 of our yearly budget spending....all taxes collected and borrowing/debt adding and spending by the federal gvt should be taken in to account....

Presidents and government don't make people wealthy. People make themselves wealthy with hard work and determination. Free enterprise and Capitalism are what made this country the greatest on the face of the earth. When you try to punish those who work the hardest by taxing them, they hide their money instead of creating jobs. It's called SOCIALISM, and that's the vote you are about to cast.

Funny... I am fine with eliminating ceiling on FICA... and when it comes consumption taxes, property taxes, etc... it is how you spend...

But in terms of federal income tax.... or any government mandated tax on earnings or income, no person should be any different than any other.... X% of every dollar, for everyone, no exceptions, no loopholes

Thats all you ever hear on this board is political rhetoric, Everyone on here says that we cant tax Corps more because the costs of good will go up and jobs will be lost and outsourced but thats been happening for 8 years and trickle down economics has never worked for our economy.
