The SALT deduction cap round two has already started kicking in and more state and local tax proposals are already being talked about in NY, IL, CA and no doubt other dependable D strongholds to make up for the loss of tax base. The other side of the coin is that the 2020 census will likely cause more seat changes than expected because of Pelosi's impeachment generating sympathy for Trump.

Pelosi is trying to convince voters that looting the treasury is a right of D politicians as witness her son Paul and Biden's son Hunter. That will end up in the courts and cost a lot of D seats in the 2020 election. However the loss of tax base will be the big problem. How big do you expect it to get and how fast?
