Trump once said Oprah would be "first choice" for VP - CBS News

Trump flirted with the idea of having Oprah as his running mate over 20 years ago, which should show any of us with half a brain that he is not a racist.

Here is the deal, Trump has studied the fine art of trying to become President of the United States a very long time ago. In fact, he became good friends with Jesse Ventura specifically because he wanted to study the tactics of how a popular celebrity could win office. He even flirted with the idea of running in the Reform Party against Pat Buchannan who was a staunch conservative. And guess what, Trump attacked Buchannan the way ALL progressives attack conservatives, by calling him a racist, bigot, Hitler, etc.

But alas, as Trump is the closest thing to a conservative today, now he gets similar treatment because that is simply the tactic of the Left. Even John McCain was regarded as a racist, etc., because he tried to run against Obama. However, once McCain turned on Trump all of a sudden he became a great statesman once again in the eyes of the Progressive press.

Here is a clip showing how Trump and company attacked Buchannan as being a nationalist and racist, etc.

Naturally, the press is spinning this as assuming that Buchannan was indeed a racist as Trump has become one as well, instead of telling us the reality of the situation, which is that if you run with the GOP, you are charged with being a racist, all for political gain.

Trump is more of a narcissistic egotist than a racist. Instead of thinking just colored folks is dumb he thinks everyone but him is dumber than him...

Trump was smart enough not to run in the Reform Party over a decade ago because he realized he could not win, and as such, would damage his reputation as a winner. However, had he saw the opportunity to run with Oprah and win, he would have treated Buchannan much in the same way he is being treated now, just to win. He would have probably run as a flaming liberal.

But today, Trump has seen how radical the DNC has become, where no white man will ever win another Presidential nomination again, so he switched strategies. Then when he saw Hillary win the nomination in the DNC, who was the most corrupt and incompetent candidate in US history, he saw an easy win with the GOP

I ended up voting for him because Jill Stein polluted the Green Party...Amazing how women seem to do that.

Show me any politician, especially one in an executive position, that isn't even a little bit of an egotistical asshat.

The whole city had it in for those guys, and even if it seems they didn't do the actual assault, they were not in that part that night playing hopscotch.

Trump is more concerned with making money, so if he saw an opportunity to make money vs. lose money by racially profiling people, he probably would have done it just to make money. For the sake of argument, had he done that, it was not because he was a racist, rather, he was feeding into the rich fat cats who were racists. But the affair you mention did not even have anything to do with Trump other than people below him making decisions so the accusation is not even a fair one.

It's not like Trump has done anything close to FDR, like locking up innocent Japanese Americans because they look Japanese. Even though all can agree this was both illegal and unconstitutional and racist, dolts like you continue to say FDR was one of the great Presidents while Trump is the worst.

Very telling.
