I think it's clear that regardless of the actions of the special council CNN, MSNBC, The View, and others, will twist what they say any way they see fit.
Mueller isn't doing much of anything. Everything he's acted on so far was known over a year ago. So basically all he does is leak something to the press, or make some stupid announcement that has zip to do with Trump, and this tees up the media for another opportunity to make false accusations against him.

Some of the press is claiming that the Mueller probe is just a waste of taxpayers money.
Then this shooting reveals that the FBI dropped the ball on this Cruz kid which led to him shooting up his H.S.
So what does Mueller do?
He announces 13 indictments of Russians he will never be able to bring to trial.
This was timed to take the heat off of the FBI and the Mueller probe.

He may see all the writing on the wall, how accusations against Trump always seem to uncover more dirt on Democrats.
