In its report on the still-censored “28 pages” implicating the Saudi government in 9/11, “60 Minutes” last weekend said the Saudi role in the attacks has been “soft-pedaled” to protect America’s delicate alliance with the oil-rich kingdom.

That’s quite an understatement.

Actually, the kingdom’s involvement was deliberately covered up at the highest levels of our government. And the coverup goes beyond locking up 28 pages of the Saudi report in a vault in the US Capitol basement. Investigations were throttled. Co-conspirators were let off the hook.

So are you saying that Bush 43, a liberal establishment Republican, was hiding the truth? Oh my...…..

I don't buy that claim that the Saudi government was complicit in the attacks. What would they have gained? What could they have lost? The Saudi regime is about staying in power. Backing such an attack on the U.S. would have been the suicide of their own regime.

Now, was there anyone in the Saudi government that had knowledge or even participated to some extent, that is probably possible.

I tend to agree with that, the Saudi royals are fat cats that have it good. They don’t want to stir the pot. However, the Saudi people are batshit crazy Sunnis. We should had bombed the entire Middle East, pillar to post, and took their oil as war reparations. Instead we got “Operation Iraqi Freedom” and Bush tried to make an Islamic country a democracy. Then he just let the Afghans and Iraqis keep their oil and sell it to the French, Chinese and Russians.

Anyone who was alive at the time knows Boooosh was in cahoots with the saudi family.

The U.S. Government has always covered up for the Saudis even though they played such a huge role in the 9/11 disaster. There are many things that I will never forgive Dubya for, but one of them is that he allowed female troops in Saudi to be forced to wear black robes when they were out in public, with no showing of their uniform and rank as American soldiers. Dubya allowed this disrespect of our troops.
