This shows an AC-130 not only blowing up the entire convoy but taking out the people running away in a matter about a minute and a half. There is no place to hide.

Don't know. But they were the black hats and they lost their hats and the heads to put in them. Some people think that is what the AC was invented for. Actually, it does a bangup job. But it was invented (Specter or Surprise Package) for CAS work. As you can see, it can take out the bad guys in just a few seconds if it doesn't have to take out the trucks first. The weapons used was the 40mm Bofors and the 25mm GAU-12. It did have the 105 onboard they probably wouldn't have used it. If it did have the 105 onboard, it would have been armed with the 40mm Bofors and one 25mm Gatlings. That is the AC-130U. The newest AC-130J and W do not carry the 40mm but do carry one 30mm GAU-23 and the 105 Howitzer along with a whole bunch of air to surface missiles and SDB Bombs.

BTW, the 105 can make a Main Battle Tank lose it's tracks on the first hit and burst into flames on the second hit. It's one nasty Armor Weapon. But not necessary on trucks and lighter vehicles.
