How to repair America's broken education system

I answered your question.
You asked if I want to see educated people, or people that can get jobs.....

I'd rather see people function, and if your CEO doesn't like it, he can go fuck himself.

Your CEO is private business. We're not private business. We're the nation.

No you didn't answer the question, because you didn't read the directions. Like so many others today you failed to follow the directions and therefore failed the test. My father used to use a similar exam in his industrial arts classes and many failed for the same reason.

This isn't about CEOs or what they want. It's about what's best for this country..... an overeducated and unemployable citizenry or one that can prosper and support itself.

Education is not a legitimate Government function. Especially at the Federal level. Check the Constitution.

Education is a legitimate government function, and one of the most important functions in the Government.
You read the constitution, it doesn't say anything about who should or shouldn't run education.
That leaves it up to the law.

And that right there is just another shortcoming in the constitution that makes me not give a fuck about it.

Also, I answered your question.
Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean that I didn't answer it.
I said that your CEO can go out of business and hire nobody if he doesn't like educated people that know how to solve complex problems.

There is no such a thing as an overeducated person, your CEO just can't rip off a person with an education, that's his problem not ours.
Your CEO should adapt to society not us adapt to HIM.

next line of bullshit from you, what's next ?
lol

No. That leaves it up to the 10th Amendment, which places it with the States and The People, not the Federal Government.

And that right there is just another shortcoming in the constitution that makes me not give a fuck about it.

Another reason I can't look at you as an American.

Also, I answered your question. Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean that I didn't answer it.

The instructions left you two answers.... A and B. You didn't utilize either. Therefore you didn't answer the question.

Yes, there is such a thing as overeducation.

The 10th amendment doesn't stop the federal government from operating anything.
Anything that is NOT being operated by the federal government MAY be operated by the states.
Not that the states get to tell Washington how to run America.

There is never a such a thing as "overeducation" there is no standard as to what makes somebody overly educated.
A doctor can cook a hamburger.
Somebody that knows neither, can do neither.
:)

This is how to fix America's broken education system.

The first thing you do, is to make people who want to be teachers go and get a PhD degree in Education, and a PhD in SPECIAL EDUCATION (so that they can teach anybody).
And a PhD in the field they want to be specialists in teaching.

The second thing that you do is get control of the classrooms.

The female teachers wear Pant or Skirt Suits, makeup, heels and Hose.
The male teachers wear shoes, and a suit and tie and button down dress shirt.
The students dress the same way.

And have Three teachers per 12 students in each class, Plus a liaison officer dressed like a drill sergeant, to keep order.

No more backpacks.
No more bringing ANYTHING to school OTHER THAN Books, Pencils and Gym Clothes.
No more computers to do school work with and no more calculators.
No more games in the classroom.
No more playground equipment, no more commercial gym equipment and no more pools in school.

The curriculum is...
Math, Science, History, Geography, Civics, Psychology, English, German, Dutch, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian languages, Health, Gym, Home Economics, Woodshop, Industrial Shop, Driver's Education, Art and Music and Performing Arts.

No more "social studies"... it is now Geography, Civics, History, Psychology and Health in separate subjects.

No more just "science" it is divided into Biology and Life Sciences, Geology, Natural History and Evolution, and then Industrial Sciences and Physics.

That's just part of how to fix it.
Vouchers -- this is the only way to fix anything in education in the USA.

Its not our job to send your kid to any school you want, and have us pay for it.
You don't get to go to what camp you want when you join the Military, you don't to pick a prison when you're convicted of a felony...
You don't get to pick a school either.

"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

Wrong. Read it again. Anything goes not expressly given to the Feds or prohibited from the States belongs to the States/People, not the Feds.

And authority over education policy is a power being RIGHTFULLY and LEGALLY under the constitution, being used by the Federal Government in Washington D.C. under the United States department of education.

If you don't like it, that's your problem.

You can spit nickels, that's fine by me.

Your "states rights" claim is the claim of every oppressor there has ever been in American history.

White southern Plantation owners.
The racist mayors of southern cities and towns.
The racist governors of southern states.
The assholes who hate abortion.
The assholes that hate gays.

Every single one of them used the 10th amendment.
All lost.
You will too.

So fuck you and your 10th amendment.

No it's not. You admitted yourself the topic is not mentioned directly in the Constitution. I just showed you how it is therefore a State issue, not a Federal one.

Your "states rights" claim is the claim of every oppressor there has ever been in American history.

So fuck you and your 10th amendment.

One man's oppressor is another's freedom fighter. I know where I stand on the issue, and where you do as well. I'm comfortable with my Soul, and hope you are comfortable with yours as well.

How to improve American schools.

Subjects that should be taught:

Actual history, like Noah's Ark, Adam and Eve and Samson.
Real science. Because we all know the earth is thousands of years old, not billions.
Quit teaching "fuzzy math". Using letters instead of numbers.
Al Melvin challenges UA Math Department Chair on math, fails miserably
Math is numbers, not letters. Letters are what you spell with. Everyone knows that.
Stay away from wild liberal theories like "evaporation".
Water%20cycle%20VI.png

Who teaches this nonsense? Snow doesn't come from the Ocean. The ocean is wet. Snow is cold. Next you'll be saying we get so much snow because "global warming" heats the oceans. That's obviously stupid.

Get away from all this liberal nonsense. Teach good old fashioned values. It was good for my grandfather, it's good for my kids.

Texas GOP rejects ‘critical thinking’ skills. Really.

Knowledge-Based Education – We oppose the teaching of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) (values clarification), critical thinking skills and similar programs that are simply a relabeling of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) (mastery learning) which focus on behavior modification and have the purpose of challenging the student’s fixed beliefs and undermining parental authority.
Don't you love the way Republicans give all these excuses on why you don't need education? And why they think our schools are so bad? And their part of the country is the part that suffers the most.

...they're designed (at this point in time) to make the teacher's day easier, not educate the students ...

Wrong.

Leave it to a 'liberal' to equate NOT butchering the most innocent in society with "oppression."
