How to Improve Washington

The best way we can improve Washington is to work on ourselves. Online, we need a large vocabulary and improved reading comprehension. In 10 years, we need to know the Spanish language as well as we know the English language OR grow some balls and make everybody speak one language again.

We need to stop listening to calumny against good men and women in campaigns and keep campaigns to objectives, unless we have confirmed photographic or certified accounting proof of criminal fiscal activity.

Stop tolerating corruption at the highest levels.

Be chary of the elimination of amendment privileges to citizens - Endangered List

Make citizenship available only to informed adults who can read and write in one national language.

Do not give citizenship to persons unqualified to independently read and understand current events.

Do not give leadership positions nor voting privileges to convicted criminals, even who have allegedly "paid their debt to society" by fulfilling a jail or even a suspended sentence.

Never let a person who has been bribed or stolen money from somebody else run for public office.

Do not ever again allow anyone to run for the office of President who has no citizenship credentials or who has held citizenship in a different country after a parent revokes his or her citizenship or who has benefitted from registering in American schools as a foreign student. Make these records absolutely and with transparency open to the public when someone runs for an office that affects voters over state lines. PERIOD.

I'm fed up with people lying to pull off a little stunt against people in the other party as a cause for their assault on the US Treasury for money workers put there.

If this doesn't happen, good people will form reprisals no government can quell without killing everyone who joins the cause against evil rule.

Term limits.....no one can serve more than 2 terms in Congress. And it goes without saying there should be no more lifetime paychecks nor cadillac insurance bennies for those who served in the WH or Congress......those in the WH and Congress, no matter how long they served, get significantly better healthcare benefits (and medical care) that none of the rest of us could ever dream of! Lobbyists should be banned....no more special interest groups (no matter who they are) invading the top levels of government, elections should be paid for by public funds.....no more Super PACs, get rid of the "professional politicians"....they are what keeps the system corrupt, prosecute any and all cases of corruption....money is no longer allowed to protect the criminals in high levels of government, protect our election process by enforcing voter ID laws.....no more of this ridiculous outcry of "disenfranchisement" of minorities or anyone else because they "can't" get an acceptable ID card (everyone knows this is nonsense!), just to name a few.

We already have term limits – they’re called elections.

And ‘voter ID laws’ is a solution in search of a problem.

No, elections are not the same thing as term limits. No one, I don't care what job they have or who they are, should be allowed to stay in office for 15-20+ years. All that does is continue to guarantee corruption. For the most part, the ones who continually get voted back into office are the ones who are tied to lobbyists and big donors.....not because they are actually competent and do their jobs effectively. One only need to look at how hopelessly screwed up our govt is to recognize that. Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi are bat-shit crazy......no sane individuals voted them back into office....big money and fraud got them their jobs back. And, yes, voter fraud is real and pervasive in certain parts of the country. Anyone with half a brain knows it.....apparently that's not you.
