Hitachi Power Tools Renames to Metabo HPT in North America

A name synonymous with the construction industry changing to a NAME NO ONE HAS EVER HEARD OF.

Calling a side grinder a Metabo is a generic name in the construction industry....been that way for decades .

Hubs prefers SnapOn and Makita. Never knew Hitachi made tools.

As for Datsun.....that was my first car, B210 Hatchback. Ex-MIL had one each 240z, 260z, 280z

When I used to travel for a living I used to go to the Makita drill plant in Georgia, I used to love it there those Japs would only hire 20 something year old girls as operators , their must of been a 100 working there
