Luckystrike. I am a mix of white and Chippewa and am aware of this nation's historical record. Native Americans had no concept of "prisoners." When they went to war, the aim was to kill the enemy...period.
Many tribes in other lands had similar ways of conducting war. The concept of taking prisoners was mostly a European idea.
The primary discussion is really how nations can change over time as new groups enter it and the dominant people eventually lose out due to a lack of will or ability to stop the flow of other groups and push out those that would destroy the established society.
