The symbol goes back thousands of years, and emerged independently in many cultures. Photo: This is a 19th century bank building window in southwestern Kansas. The swastika was a religious symbol for Ute Indians.

If you look at any map in Asia you'll see "reverse swastikas" all over it because that's their symbol for "shrine".

If you look at ancient Greek, Etruscan and Roman mosaics you'll see the Swastika (not reversed) all over them because... no-one knows what it symbolised to them. In any event, it's a powerful symbol.

The bastards also ruined a few roman symbols, the eagles of the legions comes to mind.

Would love to have an eagle/legion tattoo, but it makes you look like neo-nazi scum.

If perverting the swastika and moustache were Hitler's only crimes, one might tend to excuse him. But the swastika and moustache are picking fly shit out of pepper.
