In America we have a few things, kinda guaranteed by a document you might have heard of. We call them "rights". One of them is that American citizens are both innocent until proven guilty. Another one is that people can't be forced to tesitfy against themselves.

We call it "the fifth amendment".

I do not have a clue as to why the American people would want Puerto Rico to become a state when Puerto Ricans are so violent and destructive towards society instead of towards them who create their poverty and dysfunctional education.
