That is what the article said. There are some elements that can be emulated and some that cannot. One element that can is political committment.

If Obama is elected, we will move quickly in the right direction. If not, we will fall farther behind the rest of the world.

Repbulicans will fillibuster almost ALL of Obama's legislative agenda into oblivion.

When will you idiots realize the President has NO real legislative power to do ANYTHING domestically. A US President's only REAL power is in foreign affairs where he actually has some pretty broad latitude of action outside of Congressional approval. But most everything domestically has to be done via legislation and so long as the opposite party holds a fillibuster in the Senate nothing gets done without that party's approval.

How much land area are we talking here? Would it be right to use eminent domain to take land the owners don't want to sell?

    Good point.

Until the Dems have super majoirity in Congress, there is no way that they can ram through legislation no matter who is POTUS.

It doesn't take eminent domain, it just takes money.

    T. Boone is already doing it. The farmers who host the turbines get thousands of dollars in royalties each year, so it helps the family farmer and the country.
