How Romney lost Florida...

Yes, it's exactly the point.

You're trying to compare the budget plan of someone who had the courage to release one, over a chump whose floated "vote present" budgets haven't been able to garner sum total votes in congress that have reached into double digits.

I'm not comparing budgets, I'm talking about voter perception. Seniors will vote Obama if they think Romney has plans to steal their Medicare.

Seniors are already benefiting from changes Obamacare has brought them. Even running and saying "Repeal Obamacare" could be enough to turn seniors off to Romney/Ryan.

You reply with a cut-n-paste of some article about medicare. You're a cherry picking hack.

Maybe you're not understanding which part of the Ryan budget is going to be the issue in Florida.

Hint: it's the part that 2/3 of the seniors in your cherrypicked poll disliked.

Once again you prove your ignorance and hackery. Seniors have lots of time, time to research issues. They know that Ryan's plan saves Medicare.

Seniors have children, and grandchildren. They want the benefits they have to be there for their descendants. Ryan's plan does that.

Romney/Ryan will easily win Florida.

Oh yes, Senior Citizens just love the guy..

Wait until he hits the campaign trail.

Is there anyone in America who does not think the Federal budget is out of control? We have multi-trillion dollar deficits as far as anyone can see. Everyone understands that spending in Washington is broken and needs to be fixed.
By picking Ryan Romney has made the choice between his team and Obama's as stark a choice as I've ever seen in 32 years of voting. Do we want more of the same, deficits out the wazoo, special tax breaks for favored companies, enormous tax increases, ever growing entitlements, or do we want a limited government with lower taxes and more opportunities for people?
I think ROmney/Ryan is a winner. The fact that the leftists here are whining so loud is a pretty good indicator how good the pick is.

And of course the answer to that problem is to cut entitlements, double defense spending and give Billionaires tax breaks. Yup, Ryan will lose states for Mittsy...

:lmao: It is the democrats pitching a fit repubs called their bluff and will allow the cuts to defense.

Is it because democrats loaded the defense budget with social programs?

A bit slow you are........

We'll see...in the meantime he's more popular than Obama -who's robbed $700 billion from Medicare.

Ryan budget crystallizes Romney's economic vision | Reuters

This is the second Presidential election that a GOP nominee has tried to win the WH with a "bold" choice. Gimics do not win the White House. Ryan will be demonized in Florida until every senior will see themselves lining up at health clinics begging. You touch medicare and you lose...simple as that:eusa_whistle:

From your link, dem-wit

The military would also fare well under Ryan's plan, which would slightly increase defense spending above caps agreed upon in a congressional budget deal last year.

Nonpartisan analyses of Mr. Ryan’s proposed income tax cuts reached conclusions much like those of Mr. Romney’s tax proposals in recent weeks. “The tax cuts in Paul Ryan’s 2013 budget plan would result in huge benefits for high-income people and very modest — or no — benefits for low-income working households,” Howard Gleckman, a senior fellow at the Urban Institute, a policy research organization, wrote in summarizing the findings of the Tax Policy Center.

The center is a joint effort of the Urban Institute and the Brookings Institution that includes economists and tax experts with experience in both Republican and Democratic administrations. It concluded that a tax-code overhaul meeting Mr. Romney’s goal — a 20 percent cut in all rates without adding to annual budget deficits — would leave wealthy taxpayers with a large tax cut but 95 percent of Americans with a net tax increase once tax breaks for items like mortgage interest are curtailed to keep deficits in check.

Under the New Ryan plan, the traditional plan doesn't change. In 2023, they will have a choice of private plans.

Here's the thing, the one age demagraphic McCain won in 2008 was people over 60, where he got 53% of the vote.

Do you really see Romney/Ryan getting 53% of the senior vote?

Remember- again- the goal here is to get some of the people who voted for Obama to switch while keeping eveyrone who voted for McCain.
