How Much Worse Will San Francisco Get?

Saint Ronnie The Ray Goon is the reason so many are on the streets. He single handedly closed all the mental hospitals in California.
California canā€™t open mental health hospitals? Obama and Clinton couldnā€™t do it?

Hilarious watching you Leftards spin in your own pile of crap.

As a matter of fact, it is not an issue for the federal government. California GOVENOR Reagan closed the institutions.

He close most of the State Institutions. His intent was soune, the Mentally Ill ought to be treated in a community in which they have family or friends. Sadly, they didn't fund the Counties, as later the Republican members in the Legislature wouldn't raise taxes and instead raided the revenue of the counties.

Dirty needles kill people. I don't expect a Trumpette to grasp that fact.

Who cares?
It's not like these people contribute anything to society.

Clean needles kill MORE people, from OVER DOES, but I don't expect a leftist bubble head to grasp that fact.

Clean needles prevent the transmission of disease. Better to provide the drug of choice to addicts which are safe, that will prevent OD's, and criminal activity which many addicts commit to support their jones.

The war on drugs is a failure.

They're not giving them free drugs.

ā€œThe worst Burger King in the worldā€ has closed its door on Market Street in San Francisco. A mere 5 minute walk to City Hall, this restaurant is emblematic of the urban decay that an endless string of Leftist governments have allowed to occur in what used to be one of the most beautiful cities in America:

ā€œIt was the worst Burger King in the world,ā€ Little says. ā€œItā€™s the population here. If you go into the Starbucks across the street, theyā€™ll tell you the same thing. Theyā€™ve been trying to get it together but I heard there was a time recently when all the employees just got up and left.ā€

Yelp reviews
echo Little's sentiment. "As soon as you walk in, you are assaulted by the sights and sounds of everything that is wrong with the Civic Center area," wrote Philip L. of San Francisco in June 2019. "Homeless people wander in to buy a cup of coffee and sit all day. Bewildered tourists wander in now and then. They get scared and leave the store or brave ones stay and eat."

"Officially the worst place I've ever been to in my life," shared Chris W. of California City. "It smells like someone pissed all over the floor."

FOREIGN INFLUENCE: Hugo Chavezā€™s trusted advisor gets ready to run the San Francisco District Attorneyā€™s office.

Kamala Harris' old job.

Chesa Boudin, who was quite literally Hugo Chavez's trusted propagandist, translator and advisor, Cuba-groomed from the start, is now commanding an apparently unbeatable lead in San Francisco's district attorney's race.

One of Hugo Chavez's very own will soon be set to be the chief prosecutor for the California city. Yet this guy has also been photographed in Venezuela wielding an assault rifle, and getting guerrilla training, according to Venezuelan sources. He literally hung out with the Chavista goon squads known as 'colectivos,' the same thugs who drive around in motorcycles and shoot into crowds who protest. Those are his homies. Finally! Socialism done by an expert!

I was there weekend before last itā€™s gotten worse.

Itā€™s so bad that a black woman stole deliveries and packages from the front steps of condos...on tape....in front of witnesses...for over two years. When confronted she screeched ā€œracistā€ (and had taught one of her state supported daughters to do the same thing) which of course scared the bejesus out of any good San Franciscan and backed them down. For periods of time SF courts ordered the residents to have their packages delivered at work rather than jail a black woman.

Among the most primitive of prehistorical people they disposed of their dead. They buried or at least burned the bodies. The homeless of San Francisco aren't even that civilized. They let the bodies rot where they died until some one notices. This is really a loss of civilization.

For a city you dic suckers claim not to care about -- you sure care about it...ā€¦ A WHOLE LOT

But it does seem that the property value is plummeting in San Francisco due to all of the people leaving it since all of the dirty homeless people kicked them out.....

this chart doesn't show property value dropping, but that is because the homeless don't want you to know it...

Progs have maxed out the wealth of the city and themselves. And can not understand why there are still poor people, homeless people and addicts. So it has to be the deplorables that caused it.

As a San Francisco resident I can honestly say that the hype is both hype and also pure propaganda.

San Francisco does have real problems. Not sure of any big city that doesn't. I have lived here for decades and we have had a homeless problem since I first move to the City. No one has come up with a viable solution. I am open to solutions.

Just building is not a simple answer for a city on a peninsula that is virtually built out- we can build higher- but thats about it. We do have a problem with over-regulation that impedes the building that can happen here. The limitation on housing along with the huge demand for housing in San Francisco- and I mean huge- is part of the problem. But certainly not all of it. There are distinct groups of homeless that have different problems.

That being said- the majority of people posting about how horrible San Francisco is frankly have either never been here, or never been anywhere except the Convention Center area.

Most of San Francisco is pretty wonderful. The Richmond, the Sunset, the Marina, Russian Hill, Fisherman's Wharf(yes even Fisherman's Wharf), the Presidio, the Embarcadero, the Mission, the Castro, Noe Valley. How many of you go for 2 hour walks in January in your city just because we like to walk around San Francisco?

Market Street which in the 40' and 50's was pretty impressive has been blighted by homelessness for a couple of decades now. The Tenderloin the same- but the cheap flop houses the alchies and druggies used to be able to get rooms by the week are disappearing- because people with money are buying them up.

NIMBY's dominate the City. My favorite phrase we hear is "neighborhood character" which really means I don't want anything new built in my area. And that attitude is why single family homes make up a majority of the City and we have the shortage of housing we do. We're a City of rich and poor and young people looking to chase their dreams and willing to live 5 people in a two bedroom apartment to afford it.

When are conservatives gonna max out the wealth of Kentucky or Louisiana??

There is some truth to that. The NIMBY's absolutely make it harder to get anything done- I actually laugh at our City's motto. Were you as surprised as I was about how nicely Chrissy Field turned out?(if you were here before it was developed). The Dogpatch area is getting built up now- but those apartments and condo's are pricey also. Treasure Island should have been developed by now- those were the two areas for real housing expansion.

But I also don't want to see buildings with interesting character- victorians and edwardians- razed to solve the housing issue we have. Of course there is also the other reality- it isn't just the City- its the entire Penninsula, and San Jose, and East Bay prices all skyrocketing. It used to be those who couldn't afford SF moved to Oakland or maybe San Bruno- but those are barely less expensive than the City.

It's definitely a Bay Area problem (as well as entire state problem) that we have under built housing for decades. San Francisco (and Oakland) alone can't make up for the short fall from the lack of building in the suburbs. But having had the "honor" of sitting through Planning Commission and Board of Supervisor meetings for new development in the past decade I can report back with 100% accuracy about the power of the NIMBY movement. And the fact that people fight higher density development around public transportation is all we need to know.

I grew up in Oakland. There are many places in Oakland where you can't buy for under $1m. Crazy. You can't afford to live here unless you are rich, have been here for decades and bought when it was far more affordable or are subsidized by family money. Or are young and will do whatever you have to. Anyone in between, prayers sent.
