No. Former PG Shokin testified that there were several open cases on Burisma and he was pressured by Poroshenko to close those cases because of Joe Biden's threats. And unfortunately for Biden, he confessed that he made those threats while the camera was being live streamed from the CFR.

You and others here repeatedly make accusations that Shokin was corrupt, yet you never cite the law you think he violated and Shokin has never even been charged with a crime, let alone been convicted of any crime.

Where is your evidence that Shokin "was as corrupt as the day was long"?

Where is the evidence of Shokin being corrupt? You TDS afflicted morons NEVER cite any specific law you assume he violated let alone provide any evidence that Shokin has violated any law. All you do is make vague unsubstantiated claims that he is corrupt.

Contrast that to Biden's "solid guy" Lutsenko that he coerced Ukraine to install as Prosecutor General under threat of cutting off US aid. He didn't even have a fucking law degree fer crissakes. Not only didn't he have any credentials whatsoever, he was an ex-con who had recently got out of prison after serving time for embezzlement and abuse of office while he was the Interior Minister. The guy who has fled the Ukraine because he is facing more corruption charges!

If a guy who did prison time for corruption and never even went to law school was nominated to be the Attorney General by a US president and confirmed by Senate at the behest of a foreign diplomat who's son was getting paid $millions by a large gas company that was under criminal investigation, and then that AG closed the case, wouldn't you think there was some sort of shady shenanigans going on that was worth investigating? Or are you brain dead?

1) Shokin has never been charged with a crime.

2) Lutsenko served prison time for corruption and is now facing more corruption corruption charges.

Yet some people are stupid enough actually believe that the reason that Biden had Shokin ousted and replaced by Lutsenko was to "fight corruption".

Ukraine is pretty corrupt, right? One thing that happens in corrupt countries is that people who get in the way are brought up on phony charges. That appeared to have been the case for Lutsenko. As interior minister he was in charge of the police and did a pretty good job after Euromaiden so they were hopeful he would do a good job as PG.

It turned out that Lutsenko didn’t live up to what was hoped.

Do you have any evidence that Lutsenko was brought up on false charges? And besides, that still wouldn't explain why someone with never even went to law school was scandalously appointed Prosecutor General.

On April 7, 2013 Lutsenko was pardoned as a part of Ukraine's ongoing decriminalization and rehabilitation effort towards reconciliation, not because the charges were false.

In an announcement on his presidential website, Yanukovych said he had signed a decree granting the pardon following appeals by Ukrainian and European Union officials, including former Polish President Alexander Kwasniewski and the former president of the European Parliament, Pat Cox.

Of special note is that Alexander Kwasniewski, who had close ties with the Director of the IMF's European Department, pressured Ukraine to pardon Lutsenko and 9 months later Alexander Kwasniewski was appointed to the Burisma board of directors. And 3 months later Devon Archer and Hunter Biden were also appointed to the Burisma board of directors.

Coincidence?

Then Joe Biden proceeded to withhold the $1 billion US loan guarantees and consequently the IMF loans to Ukraine until they installed Lutsenko into the PGO and agreed to raise energy prices and freeze the minimum wage.

Are you really so naive that you believe it's just a freak coincidence that all 3 of Quid Pro Joe's conditions to get the billion dollar guarantee were financially beneficial to Burisma?

Lutsenko’s prosecution in 2010 was kind of a farce. One of his charges was that he used government funds to have a party for the police on a holiday that honors the police. Lock him up.

Do you have evidence of “all three of Joe’s conditions”? Do you have evidence they demanded Lutsenko be appointed?

Even after Shokin was fired Biden still withheld the $1 billion loan guarantee. He didn't agree to release the funds until the day after Lutsenko was appointed.

Is that just another freak coincidence?
