Bush NEVER ridiculed his dissenters. He NEVER pitted one group of people against another.

Because people who opposed the Iraq war really don't support the troops.

Because people who weren't with us are against us.

Because people who didn't support the Patriot Act are by definition terrorist supporters and unPatriotic.

No ridicule there at all. No pitting one group against another
