The right doesn't care about the truth. This is better shown with Newt gingrich who was not only a lobbyist, but was advisor that helped bernie Mac come up with the housing scam that crashed the housing market. This is not to mention newt was running on a platform of fiscal responsibility despite having been plagued over his entire career for bouncing checks due to overspending. Oh, and he was a true christian conservative who was divorced 3 times, and even asked his wife who was sick for permission to have sex with other women. Yet this is one of their best people for fiscal and moral responsibility.

The right wouldn't know smaller government, less corrupt lobbyists, fiscal responsibility, the truth, or moral responsibility if they were praying to jesus top smite their enemies.

Not5 that the left is much better, but they do tend to be a lot less completely full of shit as the right. That is not saying much considering how high the right stacks their shit, but I guess it is something. I just prefered the Bush Sr. years when the republicans still knew how to bury their bullshit. He was the last in the line of conservatives who at least pretended to be conservative. It is funny how in the primaries the republicans knew that Romney, and all their other choices, were a shameful bunch of con men, buit now that same man they bitched about and could not support is as pure as jesus to them. I guess it just figures since there is not a single republican who understands the teachings of jesus.

It's very likely Romney will be our next president. The Republicans are indulging in massive voter suppression. They have a couple of dozen billionaires spending hundreds of millions of dollars because they know they will "get something". A bigger nuclear waste dump, protection from the Justice Department, etc.

Americans are more interested in Kim Kardashian. In fact, most women don't know that Obama's first signed legislation was the "Lily Ledbetter" act or even what it is. Republicans have promised to repeal it. Women should be outraged, but like most of America, most women are simply not interested.

It stands to reason that he would have to list himself as a lobbyist on his tax returns for the year 2000, and isn't that one of the years he refuses to provide?

Kinda makes one wonder what else there is that we don't know.

He did get paid, and it is a matter of record that he donated every penny of what he got paid and then some. He didn't keep a dime for himself, nor did he turn in an expense report for any of his out of pocket expenses.

The left of course cannot admire that nor appreciate it. They are digging for any dirt they can find to demonize him. We know more about Mitt Romney's ENTIRE past than we have known about any President in my memory, and that is a looooooong memory now. But they won't rest until they can find some dirt somewhere, and if they don't find any, they'll make it up.

What really sucks for the progressive smear machine is that Mitt Romney REALLY is a "choirboy"...he didn't do drugs when he was in college like Barry did...he didn't do a shady real estate deal with a guy like Tony Rezko like Barry did...he didn't write a "fictional" account of his life like Barry did. All Mitt did was do well in school...do well in business...do well running the Olympics...and do well as a Republican Gov. in as liberal a State as there is in the country.

Mitt Romney is such a goodie two shoes that people like Mustang are forced to give us the earth shattering news that Romney once registered as a lobbyist when he was promoting the Salt Lake Olympics...like THAT is something that he's hiding. I can't help but laugh at what can only be described as clutching at straws.
