How Many people have a 401k hate Wall Street

what exactly are you protesting?

*sigh*.......this dopey nutter wants to quiz me.............as if I haven't answered this question in forty different ways already. I protest many things. here are three.

Point 1. I protest the vast income inequality in this nation.
Point 2. I protest the lack of regulation in our financial market.
Point 3. I protest the loss of our manufacturing base due to corporate greed.

Now.......try harder.

Ok.. So you're protesting. If you're protesting then you must have an idea as to how to right the assumed wrongs. Be specific please.

How would YOU adjust the income equality in the nation.

Exactly what regulations do YOU think need to be enacted in our financial markets?

And how would you force manufacturers to provide jobs for Americans?

I basically asked the same question some time ago. We have so many mis informed people in this country that the media puts to the top

Re-posting because I'd really like to hear the answers because no one would be foolish enough to be out protesting without knowing what they want, would they?

force? 9-9-9 and cotporation will beat the door down to do there thing in the USA. Corporations pay no taxes, the consumer does
The reason corporate America go elsewhere is they cannot compete. they have to add enough to there widget to cover that 25% tax rate (avg)

I cashed in MY 401K when I saw what was coming. The 15% penalty was far less loss than I would have suffered had I left it alone.
I threw it into gold and Made 200%.

good for you, sold by a wall street employee still (probably)
let me add that Citigroup was 0.99 a share 2009
its about 8 today (it did a reverse split)

missed that one

Not true. It's hanging around $30 in past few months. That's equivalent of $3 per share before the 10:1 reverse split.

BTW, what's your point?

Talking point machine...............

machine?
dopey first,, now a machine?
what is next?
By the way there is a few of us out here that can think for our selves, thats why you did not rebutte?

There is nothing there to rebut. The things you are saying are not accurate.....they represent the version of reality that you have been fed. It is very tiresome to keep explaining things to you.

Please explain how corporate taxes have killed our manufacturing base. Draw a historical timeline with both real and effective corporate tax rates and corresponding losses in manufacturing jobs. Please take this timeline back at least 50 years.

Then, please make the case for ZERO corporate taxes as it pertains to the return of our manufacturing base.

Finally, study verb tenses and plural forms......so as not to come of as an idiot when writing.

Thanks.

Does anyone have anything?

JRK? Do you only repeat talking points or do you have a rebuttal?

thought citi was a 5:1
sorry, have no reason to have lied, it was an honest mistake and my first in a very ling time, my career is very un forgiving as well as my morals, should have done some DD on that prior to making that comment
I was day trading Citi when it was around 5 a share
My point?
A 401K has done better than gold sense 3-2009

Nothing? No one has anything to say?

JRK? Do you have anything of substance with which to rebut?

If not you should change your talking points to reflect that reality.

On top of everything else that is harming our economy now Wall street is getting another black eye when the first one was un called for
Why is that?

Dumb question (but what does one expect from a troll).

How many people would like to see our banking, insurance and financial services industry reformed?

How many people lost their nest egg during the 'lost decade'? How many planned to retire and couldn't as they watched their life savings disappear? How many lost their homes, their jobs and their future dreams; and how many 'suits' profited from the collapse?

OWS isn't about hating Wall Street. The news enjoys putting the freaks, with their tats and nose rings out as 'leaders', those who support the far left agenda of the socialist-workers party and their fellow travelers. The movement will grow in spite of these freaks because the people who suffered from the nonfeasance, malfeasance & misfeasance of our elected officials and the agents, brokers and bankers are the new silent majority.

reformed? what did wal street do to create the housing bubble? how many mortages did GS give out in the last 20 years?
and if I am a troll, why are you stupid enough to respond?

Wall Street uses billions in American Middle Class 401k for their YO YO profit taking. 401Ks have been used as a tool for Wall Street to make Billions on the backs of future retirees. I have a 401k and I hate Wall Street for decimating it, and for raping Americas Economy. Wall Street is the Problem, not Government. Stop blaming Government and turn your attention to it's Puppet Masters on Wall Street. They are the real enemy of America!

Even trolls can (well, most can) learn; sadly some are willfully ignorant. Are you?

Wall Street make its wealth on a service. That service is to create the consumer wealth, not to harm them

You're so busy defending your beliefs you don't question them. That's sad. Wall Street needs to be defined, what do you mean by "Wall Street"? I suspect you see Wall Street as the Stock Market, only. It is much much more than stocks and bonds and 401 k's.

Wall Street advertises they are in business to create consumer wealth, I suppose, but anyone who takes a minute and thinks knows that Wall Street is the bankers and brokers and agents and their business is creating personal wealth. Wealth for themselves and other insiders - The self claimed "masters of the universe".

Where does wall street get its wealth to create wealth? if that wealth is harmed then how do they make profit from that? shorting every-thing?

I have a TSP, a FERS and a federal law enforcement retirement, I don't hate wallstreet, wallstreet is not the problem.

Asking questions is not an attack. I question your motives and analysis. I am a very nice person and very assertive. When wrong I admit it; when I read an argument which questions my beliefs I evaluate it.

Banking, the insurance industry and all aspects of the finanacial services industry - including real estate - need to be regulated by our elected officials. Elected officials who have not by law accepted anything of value from said industries. Such laws, regulations and practices need to be enforced by public officals who have not been bribed with anything of value delivered or promised in the future.

Corruption exists and that is what I hope is eradicated.

You're joking, right? Right? Surely you know the part that Wall Street played in creating the housing bubble.

or you don't, in which case you need to do a tad bit of research.

oh lord
Buying bundeled up securities rated Dbl A did what to create the bubble?
it started at the botttom, by the time it got to wall street what where they suppose to do?
the rating was good, what else?
