I think that the amount of firearms aka guns one owns should be a private matter. I always find it pretty 'funny' when people start bragging about their 'arsenal'.

What happens when all your paranoid fears and delusion NEVER come true? There are no "sweeping" gun laws.

The guns you illegally possess may never see the lights of day and may never do anyone any harm. That's what most gun law-breakers like you believe--the gun owner who walks on both sides of the law, keeping a couple illegal modifications or unregistered weapon hidden away.

But what happens when you need to repair your truck or have some other big expense? Those unregistered, off-the-books guns could bring a pretty penny...

Not saying you would ever do this, but I bet you know someone who has sold a gun they new damn well was going to be driven to closest big city for sale to whomever could afford the black market markup. "Not my problem".

Bottom line is, how are stricter gun laws going to stop bad guys from getting guns? I can go into any major city in this country, and wave a few hundred dollar bills around, and easliy get drugs, sex, or a gun. Soemone has to be extremely naive to think that a law will stop a bad guy from doing what he wants.
