There are 14 agencies in the Federal Transportation Department. i.e. FHWA, FAA ect.
The combined spending in 2009 of only 6 of the 14 agencies was 106 billion.

The Federal Gas tax generates an average annual revenue of 253 billion for the federal transportation fund. (plus or minus a few billion)

Couldn't Brako Bama have come up with a better lie to steel money to buy votes?

Are you saying we should cut gas taxes by 50%, split the $41 billion and meet in Montecarlo for gambling?

Actually the fact that Obama did not give the stimulus to Americans is clear he is not a socialist. Only a corporatist would have chosen his stimulus route.

Maybe we should. I think we would get better use out of it.

Brako wants 50 billion to add to a budget that has a 253 billion dollar annual revenue. The TEA bills of the 1990's opened up these funds to congress to pillage and misuse. What bill doesn't, right?

Transportation is rarely a topic discussed in the Media. What a better place to stash 50 billion dollars to use for his own and his parties personal gain.

If put on several gift and ATM cards, I'd be happy to keep it in my own. Of course, I'd also be happy to take a chunk of it in cash. :eusa_whistle:
