On what grounds do you expect them to sue?

They'll say the hotel should have had better security, the maids should have noticed the guns when they cleaned the room, etc. I guarantee you they will come up with some bullshit. There is no doubt in my mind at least one or more lawyers in this city have started the due diligence on this. They could extract tens of millions from MGM

A woman got $1,000,000 dollars from McDonalds, because like the stupid liberal that she is, she put hot coffee between her legs and then drove off. 50 innocent young men and women lost their lives, and the fucker was on the 32 floor of that hotel.

And if they aren't suing the hotel, Jason Aldean will be who they go after instead since he is the reason why people were even there in the first place.

God bless you and him always!!!

How Many Days Until Some Liberal Sues Mandalay Bay?

Lawyers will try anything and a lot of times it's cheaper to settle than to hire lawyers and defend. But the Mandalay Bay Hotel has lost a buttload of money on this one, because everyone staying in those 3,000 rooms needed to have their stay comped, it closed down the casino (how much does that pull in per hour?) for however long, and if the hotel was really proactive, they should also have given every guest a complimentary return credit for at least a two day stay.
They were interviewing some hotel guests the following afternoon who still had not been allowed back into their rooms to get their belongings so they could go home.

Often the threat of a costly court case is enough for a pretty large settlement out of court, even if the court case is winnable for the defendant.

A hotel that allows someone to bring 20 high powered rifles to their hotel room and they have no responsibility? Not likely.

Better question is how long until the next mass slaughter that is endorsed by the NRA, Republicans, and gun manufacturers. And then the next. And the next. This gun cult has no problem with this becoming the new norm for the US.

The only real question is what is the number that will cause the American public to say "that is it, enough, this has to change". 500 dead? 1,000? Is there a number? Certainly if a nuclear weapon were detonated in a major city that would be enough to force change. So the number is somewhere between 60 and 2,000,000. But what is it.

Yeah, because every hotel should be fully aware of 100% of the contents of everyone's luggage. This is exactly the retarded logic I'm talking about. You should be a tort attorney.

People would have to prove the Mandalay Hotel was somehow liable for the shooter being there. "Contributory negligence" or something like that.
