The old saying, “Birds of a feather flock together” is very, very true. The individuals gathered together as members of the current administration are proving themselves to be a flock of crooks. Most are hiring lawyers as the Mueller investigation into their Russian connection turns the heat up, along with incriminating evidence.

But even more interesting about certain members of this flock is the Big Orange Head’s personal attorney, Jay Sekulow. He has a crooked history himself, an extremely crooked history. Perhaps this is the reason Big Orange finds Sekulow so enchanting.

Back in 2009, as the Great Republican Recession was really getting going, thousands of U.S. workers were losing their jobs every day. The G"NO"P, as they were called when they were in the minority (and will be again), did all they could to prolong the worse economic crisis since the 1930s.

Jay Sekulow, being the typical high-powered conservative, hatched a plan to profit off the misery of as many of the unemployed as possible.

Documents show Sekulow approved plans for those who worked for his Christian nonprofit to badger poor and jobless people for donations. The telemarketers, working on behalf of Sekulow, ran a scam on people who said they could not afford to donate. Their spiel was designed to encourage victims to infer a “sacrificial gift” would go far in persuading God to help them find employment.

The spiel worked and worked great, money from the suckers poured in. During the years beginning in 2000, Sekulow’s Christian nonprofit has enabled him to siphon off more than $60million into his own pockets, those of his family, and some of the money made its way into the coffers of their businesses.

Most people call this fraud. But, since the victims have known of his financial shenanigans for years, the conservative Christians must see the 60million+dollars he skimmed from their donations to his religious charity as his reward from God. They are suckers, indeed.

People of reason, on the other hand, see Sekulow’s religious charity scam as cruel exploitation of the weak-minded, and an ongoing criminal act.

People of reason will be pleased when prosecutors use the evidence gathered by the Mueller Probe to convict these crooks, and get the flock out of here. Get the entire flock who comprise the Big Orange Head’s criminal syndicate out, and into prison where they belong. Lawyers and all.

Debating a conservative is like playing chess with a pigeon, they wander around the board aimlessly, sh!t on everything, and still believe they won.

Did he take millions in from foreign governments to pay to play for favors? Did the charity rip off disaster victims like you know in Haiti?

Oh looky fucking looky!

"Independent accountants review the nonprofits annually, Robertson said, and the IRS has found them to be “in full compliance with all applicable tax law.”

“The financial arrangements between ACLJ, CASE and all related entities have been reviewed by outside independent compensation experts and have been determined to be reasonable,” he said."

Trump attorney Jay Sekulow’s family has been paid millions from charities they control

So they can't be shown to be crooks right now. Is that something special? A religious nut who can't be shown to be a crook right this minute. I'll admit it's extremely unusual, but is it really something to brag about?

We don't know how thoroughly the IRS does this given the large number of non-profits. This clearly is a ongoing story that deserves a closer look.
