How many Dem politicians who scream against a border wall and against arming teachers live in gated communities with armed guards? This is not to mention the fact that these politicians work in buildings that are protected by armed security guards, metal detectors, police dogs, etc., etc. Oh, so it's okay for them have protection but not for our school kids to have protection?

One gets the feeling that many Dem politicians oppose common-sense solutions to school shootings because they don't really want to solve the problem, because the problem is so useful to them politically.

Let's see: No guns for any teachers. No bullet-proof plates for students. No allowing armed parents to volunteer to take turns patrolling outside their kids' schools. No requiring counties to assign two policemen to each school. No allowing parents to hire private security for their kids' schools. Nope. Nope. Nope. No nothing. Just impose a tyrannical police state where no one can own a gun of any kind.

They only care for themselves...politicians are built that way...it's greed and selfishness that motivates them the most...If they feel guns should not be used to guard our schools then take the guns away from their security teams...Take them away from the halls of congress....no more armed protection for the swamp until you provide it for our public schools....

I would say to every parent out their to start asking for this kind of protection for their children...if they say no take your child out of that school...home school them...Private tutor anything but don't send them into a war zone unprotected...

We have armed security at malls banks sport venues and stadiums Disneyland campgrounds colleges and university's so why are our public schools left undefended?

I'm not a Democrat, but I am anti-wall. Don't have a problem if teachers want to carry guns.

You actually think a community is the same thing as a school?
